The TEE line of hybrids is the truth! I've had one in the bag for four years (which is like a tree root for my bag). It's my most reliable club.

Cobra Baffler DWS - in backup bag

Bridgestone J40 - firmly in the bag

Hogan VKTR - have the 27 to replace the 5 iron because Bridgestone did not offer a 26 or 27 hybrid for the J40. Jury is still out on this one. The VKTR has a different shape which takes some getting used to.

My vote is for the Adams Super Proto 9031. Bad to the bone. every time I hit it off the tee with someone new they ask what the hell is that thing. Ball speed is stupid.

I can't imagine a better club than the Ping G Hybrids I've got in my bag right now. I think I've tried them all and these have got it all. For me, the way a Hybrid looks on the ground is very important and these look and perform perfectly. It would really surprise me if they were able to improve upon it with the G400. They say they have and they usually do what they say but I'm sticking with what I've got, for at least the foreseeable future.

New: I really like Titleist 818 H2 for many reasons....size (very small), shape, filled that slot, and great performance among some great shaft offerings

Older: TMAG had a lot of "rescues" I liked, particularly a high faced tour issue head/proto around r11 era, was actually a peanut shape in white and one of a few clubs TMAG used to see their staffers response to white head clubs.

I picked up a mint used JPX 900 4h last week. Looked brand new! First ever swing with it, 205 yard Par 3, hit it pin high on the green, left me a 10 footer. Missed the birdie of course.

Ordered another mint JPX 900 3h it will be here tomorrow. If it performs as good as I think it will, I may order the 2h and kick my 3 wood out of the bag.

These hybrids are $$

My Adams Idea Pro A12 23* has been in the bag for a long time now. Nothing new seems to offer an improvement of sorts.

I’ve got the F7 and the Cobra King Oversize in the bag.

These are the biggest surprise of the year for me and will be going no where.

Also have the F7 Fairway.

Somehow, Cobra and Bridgestone have taken my bag over.

As you read through the thread I think every hybrid made is listed somewhere. It sort of proves that there really isn't a bad hybrid out there and they're all pretty good. Maybe some subtle differences in Aesthetics but I think the technology is the same throughout the industry. Moving the center of gravity around to create the desired ball flight. Most hybrids keep their center of gravity low and deep to create a larger sweet spot and higher ball flight.

Keep going back to my Cobra DWS Hybrids, although the Fly Zs were good. Change out the #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 & #6. Usually 2, 4, 5 & 6. Probably the Aldila Proto T shaft has something to do with it!

I’ll second the DWS Cobras. Also the Cleveland DST is an oldie but goodie. Almost picked up a 3, 4 DST for peanuts couple days ago.
