My Mizuno JPX Fli Hi (V1) is the oldest club in my bag and she's not going anywhere. 225 off the tee and 210 off any lie and most importantly, NO HOOKS with the steel shaft length of a 3iron. Not the longest but reliable time and time again. I actually hit the JPX 900 19* and loved everything about it, except it flew too far for my gapping. Looking forward to see if another JPX Fli Hi is offered in the near future (would be V3).

If you ever get the hooks, worth a look.

I just picked up a Ben Hogan VKTR 23 degree hybrid.....this club is doing wonders to my game. Ball flight is more of a penetrating variety but the odd part....the ball will stay on the green (assuming I do hit the green :) ).

If you are looking for distance hybrid....this is not the club for you. But if you are looking for a hybrid that can stay on the green.....check this out.

I loved the Adams Idea 9031 Black.

Currently playing Callaway Apex. Very similar.

I like hybrids that play like an iron, and the Apex do that for me.

Another good one is the Wilson Staff FG Tour M3.

I originally posted about the H45 which I still think are great hybrids but I have since moved to the 913h 19/21 set up... I am finding these very consistent and I do not get the hooks or occasional snap hook. Feeling very confident with these hybrids right now.

Evidently, the best hybrids, old or new, are the hybrids golfers are currently using. Makes sense, otherwise they would be playing something else. Maybe the thread title should have been "What hybrids are you playing?"

It's easiest to just have a general expectation of this since that's how every thread on this site is. Never fails.

Nike SQ2 with Aldila VS Proto 95. Oldest and most versatile club in the bag. It’ll do 210-225 off the deck and 240-250 off the tee. Not to mention, it’s great for bunting it out from the trees. The only way I’ll replace it, is if the face caves in.

Hated hybrids until a couple months ago. Always played a 2i or 5w and dabbled with the crossover for a year. But put this year's M1 hybrid in the bag and love it!

Srixon H45.

When I was originally researching hybrids, to pick a few to try out, the Callaway XR hybrids were the one that seemed to be winning all of the online "shoot-out" type reviews.

I hit XR vs H45 vs 913H vs Adams XTD / 9031. H45 was the easiest, felt the best, and numbers were as good as anything.

Woods/Fairways:  Callaway with Mitsubishi shafts

Irons:  Srixon with Dynamic Gold shafts

You can see what I game in my signature below, but I would second the Ping Anser and throw the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-6 in there too.

My Callaway XR are the oldest ckbs in my bag. I absolutely love them.

I have 4,5, & 6 Xhot hybrids, and don't see me changing them out anytime soon.

My Callaway XR are the oldest ckbs in my bag. I absolutely love them.

I'm a huge Ping fan and I'm not a Callaway fan at all... but the XR Pro 3 hybrid kicked out my i15 2 hybrid and it wasn't even close.

I'm surprised how forgiving the XR Pro is.

I have an i20 fairway wood and a 910D2 driver right now... and I'm thinking about going with XR Pros to replace them both.

Basically every club in my bag is new within the last year. Except my hybrids. I have the Taylormade RBZ original not stage 2. Can’t get them out of my bag. I’ve heard others also say they were best hybrids ever made. I don’t have a ton of experience but I will say they are great. Accurate and long and easy to hit. My only complaint is the white paint chipping off after all these years of bag chatter. I wanna send them away to have redone.
