The F8+ 3 wood is going in the bag for sure. Probably going to get the driver too.

Think the driver looks absolutely fantastic, but, would wonder what would happen when I hit on the edge of the milled face.

The F8 irons from a distance look incredible and not too dissimilar to AP1's but up close they look pretty cheap. Disappointed as I'm due to renew the F6s I currently have. The blend into wedges is not as neat either and I think that will put a lot of people off completely.

 

Driver looks stunning save for the face. If it's milled will that wear out the way wedges do? Not convinced this is anything other than faff for the sake of it, no revolutionary tech. I know that's always unlikely given the restrictions in place but the SLDR and original M2 felt like sizeable jumps forward at the time.

 

Only positive with the dark branding is we might see some decent stand/cart bags.

I have been lucky enough to hit the entire product line on two separate occasions and must say I was very impressed!

The F8+ driver and fairway were amazing. There are also new mb/cb irons coming in April with a black finish which I’m guessing Rickie will switch into and they look really good too. Black version of the current Pur wedge will also come with it. Having been very sceptical about the one length hybrid, I must say that after a few swings, you forgot about it being 7 iron length. Mid/high handicap players will love it and actually think it would be great to play a bump and run shot around the greens with.

As far as I’m aware, the black version of the drivers, fairways and hybrids will only be available in US but to be honest, I prefer the Nardo grey and expect most of their staff players to be in Nardo too.

This is exactly what I want to hear. I'm feeling a whole bag (minus the putter, Bettinardi perhaps) of Cobra. F8(+) Driver, F8(+) 3/4 wood, 4-PW MB's, and 3 Pū wedges. Only question is, will there be a King Utility iron replacement

Were they far away from CT limits before?

 

The milling should allow them to be consistently closer to CT limits (over the allowed tolerance) and put out consistently higher performing clubs like those "hot" clubs the tour guys have (which in reality are just on the max end of CT tolerance).

I think the entire line looks good. I’ve had great success with Cobra over the last 5 years of golfing and don’t see any reason why these won’t do the same as past offerings. I’m not sure which I like better the black or the grey version...hmmm

No replacement for the utility iron but it’s coming in black too!

Was going to pick some king wedges up but if there’s a black version coming I’ll wait! Wish they would make a 46/48 degree wedge as well

Cobra has not moved the needle for me, at all, since the Tour Trusty wedge. However, I am uber intrigued by these. A lot of tech packed into them and I dig the milling on the face and overall look.

They copied TM on a milled face? On a white top? You mean the gray one? Not even close to the same look and no white. The naysayers here are cracking me up. There were a bunch of negatives on the release of f7...then the glowing raves came in by the truck load. Thanks for the pics!

Nothing exciting and the colour schemes look cheap. Still unsure who Cobra see as their main demographic as the Rickee Flowers fans I know wear the clothes but don't hit the clubs...

Looks great. A little disappointed on glued hosel with hybrids but whatever, f7 hybrids are pretty much same. The driver will be in my bag.

So if I put ‘poly’ bumps or whatever on the top of my driver to disrupt airflow over the crown. Will that be illegal? Illegal because it changes the original design. I wonder if Cobra has a patent on the ‘poly bumps’. If not every OEM might start sticking them on the top of their drivers.
