Your absolutely right, no adjustability in the hybrids this year. That’s a big no from me. I’m one of the crazy ones who love the adjustability factor on my fwys/hybrids.

Huge fan / believer in the baffler technology.

 

Rick Shiels does build these drivers up pretty good.

 

I want to see a new take on the King Pro Forged MB / CB set in black. Those were my biggest regret selling. Luckily, you can get them for a steal now.

I think this was asked in the thread but no one has commented about it. Anyone else worried that the milling will wear over time?

The F8+ and the 3w look great to me but I need to see them in person. I thought I would like the G400 LST but then I saw it in person and the shape of the head was awful.

 

On a side note had they added some version of jail break they could have gotten the rip-off trifecta!

Not sure about the rip off trifecta. I only see them taking styling cues from Callaway. Carbon crown and Boeing speed bumps. Add some sort of “jailbreak” and it’s basically a black Epic with a milled face. I like it though. I also like the Epic. Nothing wrong with either of those two and can’t wait for the Rogue to pop up. TM can go to hell.

Not worried. It definitely will wear down over time. Given, what it's made of, it will be fast or slow. I am thinking, drivers are hit maybe 12 - 14 times in a round? Given on who you are? But, range time will wear it down as well. I'm thinking, if you have it a year, then you'll probably notice some wear. Longer than that, a bit more. Shorter than and you're probably alright.

That said i love the look of the grey one (only change i would make is get rid of the "CNC milled" on the face).

 

Also I guess this further validates the turbulators now if both Callaway and Cobra have a variant of it.

I like it too. Really f7 hybrid and f8 probably not that much different. Just like compare f6 and fly z hybrids same clubs basically.

It's a great driver. The F8+ is awesome for guys wanting super low spin. Just put the weight forward and hit it high on the face. Spin rates are stupid low.

I agree and have said before that no one should take the word of any internet jockey as gospel. Trust the results from your own testing as even small swing differences can yield results far from yours.

very true, but you can at least get an idea from him as he has basically the same swing and see the results he gets from each club. its just information for you to use.

I think it looks just fine. I would prefer the all black more likely, but sue I could play the other as well. Some interesting tech with the face and interested to see how much it actually helps.

i have not seen any specs on the drivers. are both the F8 and + models 460CC?

F8 is 460cc, and the F8+ is 440cc, from what I've seen/heard.

I've went to a Cobra F7+ driver and irons in the recent year, big fan.

 

But these look really busy to me. I can't decide if I like the looks or not...

 

I bet they will play great though and Cobra will have another underrated line of affordable clubs that can compete with the biggest names

If this offers some insight, my F6+ only differs by 90-100 rpm with the weight all the way back vs. forward with forward being the lower rate

That's a good call. Going away from a black option would be pretty dumb.
