What is your "superscore" at your course?

LeftyLuck

Recommended Posts

I've played at my club for 7 years, Par 72. Superscore is -11, all birdies.

Somehow, three of the short "risk-reward" par 4s and two of the par 3s are among holes I have never birdied.

Mine would be -21 (50), par 71, at Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, OH. All birdies and eagles on the par 5s (4, 9, 11). No hole in ones or eagles on the 4s.

Total: 43 -27

Front 2 3 2 2 2 2 3 3 2 = 21

Back 2 3 1 3 3 2 3 2 3 = 22

hole outs are fun! 9 eagles, 9 birdies..... gotta work on the 9 birdies far too many for a 'ringers' score. 2 on the first (eagle) came on the first round of the year one season...... doesn't leave a lot of room for improvement over the course of the season for that hole. LOL

Wow. This is an interesting concept. I've only played at my home course for 5 years, so I don't have a zillion rounds to count on. Without having my scorecards to confirm, I believe I'm at -13 (par 72). I've struggled with the par 3s and only have one eagle on the 5s.

I've been playing a very difficult par 71 for a couple years now.

The front is very long (but fair) and the back is very hard.

I still haven't scored a bird on half the course: 1,2,3,10,13,14,15,16 and 17.

I have, however, eagled the 18th three times.

It's a short par 5 that is very gettable.

It usually leaves you feeling good about your round after the course kicked your teeth in.

So, my best score would be a 10 under 61.

I've eagled 3-5-8-10-14-18 on my course and birdied the rest. Played the same course for 5 years and get 100+ rounds in a year.

3 driveable par 4's helps. Its a shorter course at 6300 yards fully tipped out. I think I've birdied 5-10-14 the three par 4's I can reach about 5 times each at least.

-24 I'd take it!

-18. One hole I've eagled, one hole I've never birdied, and birdies on the other 16. This is over 12 seasons or so at the same home course.

-23 on a par 72

5 eagles, 13 birdies

I've left balls overhanging the hole for eagle and ace on two holes that would push it to -25 if they would've gone in.

Fun Question!

Eight par 4s

One that I've never birdied,

So that's 21 + 4= 25

Seven par 3s

Two that I've never birdied

So that's 10 + 6 =16. (No aces at home in all those years.)

Three par 5s

One that I've never eagled

but one that I've doubled eagled

So that's 2+3+4= 9.

So that's 25 + 16 + 9= 50, eighteen under the par 68..

Not bad since i was an 8 in my prime and very briefly a 7 at my very best.

Fun to think about, member at a 9 hole course here for about 10 years (well over 5000 rounds played!). 3400 yards from the back tees, best score would be 18 under for 1-9 hole round. I've eagled every par 4 at least once with hole outs and drives over corners (coarse plays much shorter than the card lets on with doglegs) and holed out from around 200 out on the par 5 for an albatross. Best 18 hole round would be a 37 or -33... if only it would happen on the same day...

Upper limit is 50; birdie on every hole plus a hole in one, eagle on two of the par 5s and an eagle from the fairway at a par 4. This is what I can remember. There might be another eagle or two.

1 albatross, eagles on the other 3 par 5's

2 hole in ones on the 4 par 3's

7 hole out eagles on the remaining 10 holes

Total of 32 under!

I've got ~120 rounds in this year and this hasn't changed, granted I need to get lucky and hole out on one of the remaining 5 holes I haven't eagled or make another albatross.

I’m not positive on some of these

1. Birdie (-1)

2. Birdie (-2)

3. Par (-2)

4. Par (-2)

5. Birdie (-3)

6. Birdie (-4)

7. Birdie (-5)

8. Birdie (-6)

9. Par (-6)

10. Birdie (-7)

11. Par (-7)

12. Birdie (-8)

13. Par (-8)

14. Par (-8)

15. Birdie (-9)

16. Par (-9)

17. Par (-9)

18. Par (-9)

So that’s a -9, 62. Beats our current course record of 63 which is shared by Stephen Gallacher and Felipe Aguilar, Rory shot a 64 the same week.
