Just want to know your opinion - knowing everything you now know about this mess do you honestly still believe that your brother shipped the item?

Thank you to everyone for the support. It was never my intention of having this thing take off like this. I just wanted to vent my problems and help others avoid making the same mistake.

 

The bottom line is i made a mistake doing F&F. My original idea was to test new drivers out including the XR16 Pro so I am a little upset that i spent $80 on a head i never received and i purchased 2 shafts to test out in the head that are now useless. So, in a perfect world id be reimbursed (maybe ill sell the shafts LOL)

 

silver lining i treated myself to a primo driver fitting and bought a Ping G400 that should be in this week.

 

So again, does it suck to lose money on the head? Yes (along with the shafts) but its not the end of the world and thank you for everyones help/support

I agree that Gh05t has taken (more than) enough verbal flack at this point. However, the problem is that he still thinks his brother is innocent. He thinks the head was shipped. That's why people are rightfully incredulous. He continues to act like it was just a "messed up transaction" and not his brother willfully scamming someone.

Fair enough Gho5t. Don't know if I would have replied any differently. Blood thicker than as they say.

 

But, and this is huge, his response to the whole situation was less than ideal and screams that he did something wrong. It apparently wasn't his first time having such an issue. He got banned which really takes a lot around here - these Mods are top of the line and will go the progressive disciplinary route every time unless something truly warrants being banned.

 

It just really stinks on many levels. I feel for you, believe me. If you had it to do all over again I would wager you might opt to either remain silent and let it just stay his problem or come clean from the beginning and admit your relationship before defending so vehemently.

 

Bottom line - PP will sort it out. Your brother got himself banned. You lost some credibility on here and, if it did not bother you, odds are you'd just let it ride and not reply as you have. (Opening yourself up for more of the same so to speak)

 

My honest concern is that your brother has some big problems - far bigger than an $80 driver head. Deep down I'd wager that you are also a little concerned about the situation. I know when my brother was in a spot of trouble I allowed him, as an adult, to deal with it but I also worried that as he continued making bad decisions things would get worse and not better. I really hope you consider the possibility that your brother might need some help. Denial runs in families, believe me. Having been the "bad guy" for pointing out issues in the past when others in the family were in denial, it was only when everything truly came to light that help was sought. Unfortunately by then a lot of damage had been done.
