Yeah, the course is great. I'd definitely pick it over Olympia Fields. Not that the old schools OF is bad, but Kemper is a modern gem. I'm a fan of Dick Nugent, one of the original designers. He's designed a boatload of courses in the Chicago area.

Yes, Kemper is currently private. When it opened it was public for quite some time, but eventually found enough members to go private. I missed my chance to play it. The renovation looks very nice. The deep face bunkers are very cool.

Lol. Let's hope so! I know I'm in the minority, but I don't mind tape delayed coverage. I'd rather have the director cherry pick the best shots of the day than see a watered down broadcast.

 

Of course, one has gotta stay away from the spoiler sources. That includes the Golf Channel.

I played two rounds in Rockford, IL today. I was pretty much the only player on the course in the afternoon round. A local news crew was out filming, and interviewed me. They wanted to see how many crazy people would be out today. So, in addition to my ears being a big hit in the Korean media, I'm two for two this week. Lol.

 

I assume the pairings are due to the predicted afternoon storms.

I'm pretty sure we don't get the golf channel app in Canada, Golf Channel better hope Brooke crashes out cause they could lose it's broadcasting right in Canada next negotiation. Our 2 sporting networks are multi-billion dollar telecommunication media entities who like to pretend they are progressive and support women's athletics and all thing Canadianna in our country. The flak they would catch not showing the event if Brooke chasing coming home would a problem. Nothing more Canadian like than complaining about trivial garbage and hammering these to companies. One of them would pay the few million it would take to get the coverage just to shut people up. I complain before and TSN one of our networks said to me as much. Sure it would still be the Golf Channel feed they just wouldn't get the advertising for it in Canada.

Excuse me, but your post implies that you are a Golf Channel subscriber. And, I am assuming that you have internet access. Might there be a way for you to watch the streaming online coverage starting at 12:45 ET?

 

I am sad for all who will be left in the dark, but I am actually glad for the schedule/broadcast change, as we will now get to see more coverage overall.
