Dahmen finishes T-2 at the John Deere and by all accounts not a single person accused him of taking an illegal drop, nor did he have to stop play and let another group play through over a rules dispute.

 

The only thing Joel Dahmen has ever cheated was Death.

There is no conclusive proof that he cheated or intended to cheat. Just the word of a competitor, his friend, and a shotlink volunteer versus a player with no history of accusations. These are just the facts

 

people's minds are made up , I think more based on their predisposition to believing either that everyone cheats and needs to be punished, or due process lovers who believe anyone is innocent until proven guilty.

A video probably would clear it up to be honest. Based on where the ball supposedly ended up and the drop that Kang took, he would have had to hit a pretty gnarly snapper. If the footage showed a shot with very little curve as Dahmen and co. claim then it’s hard to give Kang the benefit of the doubt. I doubt any of us have ever mistaken a rope hook for a baby draw.

I think the bigger issue is whether Kang actually said 95% before changing it to 100%. If he actually said that then he cheated.

There is no definitive proof. I don't understand how people can be so positive in their assertions that Kang cheated. If our court system operated this way, there would be a lot of innocent people in prison.

Everyone I play serious games with would never have taken the drop where he did under the circumstances he did, and one shot among us is worth nothing compared to what was on the line in this instance. We are however honorable men.

I meant about him saying it was a straight shot and not a hook or a big draw. To me that would be more of a head scratcher than 95%
