Do you wear "wide" sizes in those models? If so there is no way your foot is wide if they fit those models in medium.

Agreed. I feel like I could wear my actual size if I wore a thinner sock (didn’t have to even use the adjustment strap). Normal Kentwool’s and they’d definitely be better off a half size up. Doesn’t really work with a 13 though.

I was digging Tony’s am1’s & I’ve been a FJ guy since forever. Now i have a pair of roshe spikeless in the closet & a pair of roshe tour spiked & a pair of roshe street shoes on the way.... I’d add a few pairs of the am1’s in those colors in a heartbeat. Too bad.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I hope you’re wrong, as do you, but it’s certainly where the needle is pointing.

 

After Tiger tossed away the British last year, he was definitely back. Nothing from Nike. Then contended at the PGA. Nothing from Nike. Then battled through all stages of the FedEx to get to the tour championship, then WON the tour championship. The only reaction from Nike was “meh”.

 

Knowing Tiger was back coming into 2019, I had to believe, if they wanted to stay in business, they’d bring out the new TW19 shoe line in time for the Masters. Then sell a billion of them so we could wear them while watching the Masters. They botched that roll out. Now that he’s won it, there’s STILL nothing to buy. No date either. And the pics of what they are supposedly bringing out? Let’s just say they didn’t enlist Tinker to design them. :)

 

With the game contracting as it is, and baby boomers dying off and/or spending less and less money, Nike probably sees the big picture and figures the golf market isn’t worth staying in as it gets smaller and smaller.

 

I hope you’re wrong, but it is definitely what I’m thinking.

IMO Nike isn't going anywhere wrt golf. They are in several other sports with much smaller markets, targeting people who spend far less money.

 

BTW I ordered two pair, two different sizes of Tour Premiere...Will just return whichever isn't the better fit.

Nike golf is easy money for them. Basically not much of a R&D is needed. They mastered producing apparel which is probably cheap to make. For shoes they just use tech from other sports like the react foam.

Yes. I can usually do 13 or 14 in Nike shoes, but TP was 14 all the way.

Yes...size up for TP. I’m a 10-1/2 in almost every Nike shoe ever made but the TP was an absolute up size. One of the best golf shoes Nike has ever made IMHO.
