Can anyone help me out. I went to GG to try on the Tour Premiere but they didn't have any. (WTF?!)

I was able to try on the Roshe Tour sz11, the Vapor React 2 sz11, and the Air Zoom Victory sz11.

The Roshe Tour and Vapor React 2 fit me well in sz11, but the Air Zoom Victory was too small.

How will the Tour Premier fit relative to the above mentioned models? What about Vapor Boa and Air Max 1G?

I haven’t tried on the Roshe Tour but I wear 9.5 in the Roshe G. I have 10 in the Tour Premiere. The TP fits like a glove. I don’t even need to tighten the lace system.

You would think they do do a better job on that left heel for him. Looks like they look some leather and glued it on top.

Remember when all these dudes were saying Nike golf is dying? What happened to those guys? 7 out of the top 10 finishers at Augusta were Nike athletes.

I held off till this year to get the Tour premiere and really wish I had gotten them last year over the LCV2, just loved the sole of them.

Making sure im not crazy here, I have a really wide foot in the toes. I have the React Vapors, Tour Premieres, and i've tried on the new Air zoom victory and theyre the best shoes out right now no doubt, the adidas weight so much compared to these and it bothers me.

 

It seems to me the Premieres are the widest in the toe and the other two are slightly narrower in the toe area? Do you guys feel that way? Besides that slightly narrower feeling it feels like they're pretty similar fits. Thanks!

 

I have the vapor and premiere in white, just thinking what pair to get in black.

Tony Finau was rocking some black/white (maybe really dark green.. cant tell) Air Max 1's on Sunday. Does anyone know if they will be released? This is one of my favorite color ways so far.

Since the heel relief on his TW71's is custom (the retail has no heel relief), I'm guessing the left heel might be the 2nd or 3rd "fix" on the same shoe. It can look pretty gnarly when making 2 or 3 changes to the same modification. Looks like the frankensteining to that shoe worked though!

Yep! I may or may not have just bought a pair off eBay last night just so I could have a pair before they are all gone. Given the fact that you could find them on there for $60 for the past year, and now the prices is all the way up to $90+ I'm going to assume I'm not the only one.

Ya, I don't think those saying that Nike Golf is dying has anything to do with the quality of their tour guys. With Tiger, Rory, Finau, Koepka, Molinari, Day, etc., they are set up for awhile.

 

The issue is that they keep messing up the business side of it. Obviously they weren't making enough money on the hard goods side to stay in it. With this year's lackluster efforts on the clothing, reduced shoe options and mess ups regarding limited releases, etc., they aren't doing themselves any favors on the retail side. The fact they had the entire last group of the Masters yesterday and botched the Masters/New TW Shoe release so hard is a good example.

 

And I say all this as a huge Nike guy.

Those are the green snake pack. Not coming to retail. I do wish they made all the AM1s with the swoosh like this instead of the "jewel" version that all of them currently have. That's my only complaint about them but that's the AM purest in me I guess

I’m one of the dudes who has a theory that Nike is planning to ditch golf altogether. That was just my thoughts and I’m as big a fan as anyone, worn pretty much nothing else for 20 years. However from speaking with an established UK sports retailer earlier today, there are real rumours in the industry that it is going to happen - such a small part of their business and just not worth the hassle for what it contributes. Don’t shoot the messenger - it’s simply what I was told so sad though it may be, it may well happen later this year.

I hope not as well. If it is going to happen then it’s probably second half of 2019 - the 3 year tie in period for former Nike staff players ends in August so they’ll no longer be paying them not to sign up to another brand. That would be the obvious time to change direction. Or hopefully commit to the long term and get the golf division in order.

Go UP a half size in the Tour Premiere.
