TM says M5/6 standard length is 45.75".
Fine.
But, once and for all, how is that measured?
I've had people tell me it's from the grip butt to the point where the heel and sole meet.
I've had others tell me it's from the grip butt to the lowest point on the face.
Which is correct?????????

Both. TM recently moved to ground plane method in an attempt to get to an industry standard. So, ground plane for M5/M6 line.

OK, but they mention irons only. No word about woods.

M6 is a solid club. Demoed M6 at GG and produced good numbers and similar to my F8+ and F9. Great feel and tested with Tensi Pro Orange6S shaft. Hated the 45.75 length on the demo shaft/head for testing but was fun to hit.

if you call they will tell you. Online mine says 2/5 ship I think it said and when I talked to them on the phone they said fairway was already in production

I had the Tensei shaft in S. The 9.0 head with the weights all the way back and to either side. This gave me the most consistent launch and carry. Dispersion was exceptional and blew away my Rouge by a good margin.

Those distance numbers look a little high based on launch and spin. Is the sim set at elevation?

Also, your launch height and spin are both higher than optimum. Have you tried lower lofted head which would bring down both without any swing changes? If you could drop launch somewhere between 12-13* and spin to 2300-2500rpm you'd pick up 5-10 yrds straight away. X Flex shaft would help too.
Then I remembered there was an M3 with a Graphite Design Tour AD 7X in a bag out back... Even not my best shots were still high 280 and low 290s. I was also getting the best smash factor by far with the X flex.

your ball speed went down 10mph with the new setup. Was club head speed equal or did it drop?if so, the 75g may be a bit too heavy. Were the playing lengths equal? if not, the shorter di shaft may have contributed to lower club head speed. Try a 60g range X flex with the 9* head set one click to lower and the weights one front one back on the middle track.

There seems to be a big discrepancy between club head speed on the two software. My posted club head was a good 5 mph slower. I was also on the second monitor at the shop so it wasnt the same Flightscope. Same setup though. On a GC2 I am 108-112 on any given swing. I do feel as if the 70 is a bit heavy for me as I've embraced lighter weights as of late. I need to see what shafts are coming in with the order that's supposed to show up on the 2nd. I think that GP 6X might suit me very well.

At least they aren't keeping it secret and doing a followup release after everyone had already bought the M5 like some manufacturers (Taylormade included) have done in the past.

I’m not going to change course. The tour driver is going in the bag. If I need to buy Bobcat’s SLDR C driver on EBay for the HH trip as a stopgap, then so be it.
