Rejects for sure! Real world, this head versus a max CT head is likely less than a yard on perfect contact.

I’ve got some Global Golf rewards that have been burning a hole in my pocket and I’m really tempted to use them towards the M5 titanium 3 wood. Somebody convince me it’s a good idea...

 

It’s a very good idea. I’m predicting, by the end of the season it will be the most played FW on tour. It’s that good!

 

I hit it the other day and the sound and feel was incredible! I haven’t gamed a Ti FW since the r580, and this bad boy will be going in my bag before making a decision on the M5/M5 tour driver. I placed my pre-order today for the 3w 15* with the Pro 2.0 TS 8X. Should be a monster combo, if not shaft will go on BST and I’ll try and get my hands on a PO 80, PW 80 or DF 80. Looks like I should have it by Feb 8 or 9th. Let the waiting game begin.....

I had the r580 driver and 3 wood - my favorite driver I’ve owned. The only problem with Global Golf is that they have no shaft options. Usually they have a “custom” option but they list the Tensei Orange 75 as the only shaft. It’s not a huge issue because I’ll most likely put my trusty Rogue Black in it, but I was hoping to at least have options.

 

Why not just go the website route direct with tm? That way you can order an untipped shaft

I’m likely to order the m5 tour po 60tx but I won’t until I see it in person (does this put me on GolfWRX probation lol!) at golf town. The earliest shipping date on this side of the border is feb 8 for custom selections on the website so I can wait.

 

The m5 titanium is an option. I don’t want to have to upcharge the fairway shaft as well. Either the standard tensei white or blue or pro force v2 or maybe the evenflow blue. What are you thinking for fairway shafts?

 

Btw there is a tensei blue fairway listed as an option? Is this a made for?

I was thinking about PO in the M5 3 fwy too. For the last couple seasons I have liked having the same shaft in my driver/3 fwy. I am trying to hold off until I see it in person which should be any day now. In the meantime, I am looking at alternate options for the fwy as that upcharge is just crazy..

I went with the Fuji pro 2.0 TS 8, since it’s the only 80g shaft they’re offering. If I don’t like it, it’ll go on the bst and I’ll try to pick up a PO 80

Yea if its ProClubs its legit for sure. The one in question always has the "Amino Vital" towel under the heads. Will Peoples called them out on his blog about some fake M1 heads they had.

This was the Option I was looking at too for the same reasons.

Has anyone hit this? The original pro seems to of got a lot of love but nothing on the 2.0

Just tried the M5 FW against the Flash SZ. Both only had stock shafts but both felt and looked great. The m5 was more consistently longer by about 5 yards and 4-5 mph ball speed (138 to 142ish) but overall, I'd say both are quality. It's a really good year for fairway woods.

Sounds like a good time! Btw, The M5 is EXACTLY the size I was hoping for - not too big, not too small, not too pear, not too round. Looked great! The SZ too. Really good shapes from all of them that I've seen.
