Just tried the M5 FW against the Flash SZ. Both only had stock shafts but both felt and looked great. The m5 was more consistently longer by about 5 yards and 4-5 mph ball speed (138 to 142ish) but overall, I'd say both are quality. It's a really good year for fairway woods.

I should be able to get out and hit mine on the heated outdoor range tonight. It's warmed up from -1ºF to 33ºF today

The Golf Towns in the Lower Mainland of BC won’t have any demo heads etc until the second week of February.

I’m hopeful but TS3 has had highest ball speeds for me out of all the new ones but haven’t tried the Tour yet obviously

Did you try the PXG Gen 2? Ball speeds are suppose to be high on that one too. I’m looking forward to the M5 Tour myself.

The ladies 3 wood comes in 16.5. Reshaft and maybe a little hotmelt...good to go.

Hmm. That could be an option. Was considering maybe the 19* with a longer shaft. Will see how the fitting goes on evee get to that time of year on the east coast

That was one of the reasons, yes. But I've been playing strong 3 woods for years, so I'd have probably gone with it anyway.

This was a great find, thanks! Is the CC verified somewhere to be the same also?

 

Some very fine sand mixed into the resin will also raise the SW a bit, that's what my club builder did previously to get me to D3,5.

 

There is a possibility that the 15 will launch as high as the older 4 woods but still prefer to look at more loft off the fairway.

Got a glimpse of the m5 and m6 fairways today.

 

M5 - basically looks just like the m3. Nothing special on top. Didn't hit it so I don't know anything about feel.

 

M6 - very interesting. Not as big as I originally thought they'd be. They don't look that much bigger than my 17 m2 3wood. HOWEVER - it was very interesting to look at the 14* and 15* heads. For those of you who disliked the closed appearance of the m2/4 heads in the past, the 14* m6 appears to sit very square while the 15* is a bit closed (could be lie angle differences).

 

The m6 hybrid looks like the previous m2/4 hybrids, with a paint scheme change.
