Will definitely try this out, even though I am happy with my existing bat. Glad to see the prices are going to be more in line with other OEMs. Going to. research which shaft has the best resale, order it, then put my existing AD-GP 7 in it when it arrives.

So, how did Bob make a better driver that costs that much less than the previous?

 

I am guessing the last one tanked in sales.

 

Smart move, especially if performance is there, price is comparable now, and it looks pretty good too.

So easy to tell that Ping engineers came up with this Driver aesthetics-wise. Looks so similar but even better IMO. $575 is a huge price drop. I've never hit PXG before, but this Driver looks really nice.

I'm really interested in this extremely low CG. PXG claims it's ~4mm below the Neutral Axis, which is incredibly low. The King LTD Pro was ~0.6mm below * 8.5* loft while the M1 430 of the same year was ~.7mm below @ 9.5*. If that's right, with the current MOI predictions, this Driver is going to be a BEAST. Low spinning, ultra-forgiving bomber.

Yeah thats super impressive -4mm in the 0811X weights forward -1.5mm with the weights back. The MOI on the X with the heavy weights forward is 4400 and the weights back 4800.

 

5900 MOI in the XF with 0 CG is great for a driver with that MOI.

I remember Shiels having a hell of a time getting comfortable with the king Ltd and that was just slightly below the equator. Notice how mgs didn’t rave about the feel on these new drivers. But I do give parsons credit for pushing the cg boundaries like ping has. And they are good looking drivers Funny if some people will choose not to carry pxg now that the pricing is no longer elitist.

All depends on strike location. Lower CG is better if you strike it in that location and high CG is better if you strike it higher on the face (relative to CG position). Striking the face below the CG will have less of an effect with the lower CG because you are essentially closer to the CG itself. If that makes sense.

Incorrect, X is low spin. XF has higher MOI, thus more spin, more forgiving.
