I figured this is what the TP5X would come in but it was a small 5 ball box. Seemed odd, but cool. Wonder if it was just for the X version.

*On a side note, did anybody else receive their golf balls in a shipping box that was not taped or sealed properly? I’m not complaining, I just thought it was interesting when I received mine. Anybody could have opened the box and taken the golf balls without anyone noticing.

I was thinking the same thing - in fact, when I got back in town last night, I saw the box, and knowing what it was, just brought it into the house.

 

Looked into the box this morning, and it appears that someone did open it up before I got it, as the balls were all just randomly rolling around in it.

 

Anyway - thanks to TM for this....now, if my project (a) balls show up from the survey from a couple years back, it will be really cool.

My box showed up with balls loose and rolling around and no tape to seal outer box. They shipped from TM in Evansville,IN. Happy to have them though!

I have not received mine yet, but when the tp5 line came out, they gave these 5 ball boxes to places like pgass. I am good friends with our local superstore and the gm there gave me 4 boxes of these when they came out. I think he told me that their TM rep comes by and gives them these sample packs to hand out to their loyal customers. I kept the boxes because I always thought they were pretty cool

Mine just showed up with the unsealed box with the flap 90% open, the balls were inside. I received a 2 sleeve pack of TP5, was hoping for TP5X but I won't complain (hey, I got 6 balls instead of the 4 that were promised). It looks like a promo pack from when these were first released.

I’m guessing they were trying to fulfill all the orders as quickly as possible, and did not worry about sealing the outer boxes. Just like all the other comments above, I’m happy to have them as well.

Me too. Un taped flap and 2 sleeves of TP5. Pretty odd to not even tape the box closed.

Got mine as well. 5 TP5X rolling around in an unsealed box taken out of a larger unsealed box. Surprised they lasted. Happy they got here!
