Im going to use the screw in Arccos sensors in all of my clubs this season and that clip-on Bluetooth Link is going to be money!

+1 Arccos is awesome. After just initially having it in my driver for free with the app and seeing actual distances on the course I ponied up and got the grips and subscription. No regrets what so ever.

The one con is if you don't play standard grips you'll have an issue as well as crosslines is the only grip offered from Arccos. For me was not an issue as I've been playing crosslines off and on for 20 years. As you mentioned I ordered the clip to eliminate the phone in the front pocket which wasn't that big of a deal with my iPhone as I just took the cover off of it and barely noticed. The clip is an improvement I'd agree

I can't wait for TXG's review, which I think comes out tomorrow or Weds. It's interesting because I'm seeing a lot of people posting stuff on YT indicating F9 is a higher spin head. I notice almost all the pro's have the weight forward and the loft set lower. I don't mind a touch more spin because it helps me hit more fairways, but I don't want ballooning.

On the opposite spectrum, almost every report I've seen has the ST190 being a low spin bomber. Seems tempting but knowing me I'd end up hooking everything as it falls out of the sky.

I hit the 9* F9 on two different occasions at club champion (with Fuji Ventus shaft and Kiyoshi Black both in x-flex). Had the 14g weight forward ("fade" bias) and I kept losing everything left. Both days, two weeks apart.

Ended up ordering the PXG 0811X 9*with Tensei Pro Orange 60x. I like PXG, because it has a setting where you can go 3* flat (standard loft) or 2.5* flat and -1* loft. I used the latter setting and it was perfect. I was able to hammer at the ball without fear of losing left. Really wanted to like the F9, but too much draw bias...

Nothing made in the adjustable era of drivers is as flat as ltd pro, the ltd will be much more fade bias than anything around. The only heads close that I've come across are superfast tp long hosel heads 55ish lie angle. I've had a 282 superquad bent to 56lie and a nike tw speed the same and they are near impossible to draw. Those ltds are a really unique head.

Deciding if I should go 9* or 10.5* turned down to 9*. Any ideas on which would be more beneficial? Swing speed is 113. Normally my AOA isn’t the best so my spin is a touch high. Something I’m trying to work on. Home course fairways are soft with little to no roll.

If you compare no-upcharge to no-upcharge, after exchange, the Canadian prices are better $449 US ~= $603 Cdn ($549 on cobragolf.ca)

If you're Canadian and you order from Discount Dan's, after shipping and exchange, the cost is a wash

Does DD's carry VA Composite shafts?

I don't know if DD's carries the VA Composite shafts but I ordered one from Will Peoples with the VA Raijin shaft and I think his price is very good.

Curious as well, got along with the 10.5, but I prefer a 9.0 and with my swing changes the 9.0 will likely end up being my gamer loft.

I failed my no new drivers resolution for this year... I listened to the evil red guy that sits on my left shoulder and ended up ordering an avalanche 9* with pro orange 60tx 1/2 inch short. It's really too bad I'm all covered up in snow. I'll have to stare at it for a few months before I take it out and discover I still suck....

Nice. You live in the noke! My wife went to Veterinary school (at VT), while I attended grad school at VT-- worked in the athletic department as a Grad assistant for turfgrass and fields maintenance in the early 2000s.

Wonder if I can test the PO in the F9 vs. LTD Pro. Would be an awesome comparison. Maybe I will just go back and compare the F9 vs. LTD Pro in every shaft that I really want to hit lol.

Heads are 8g different in weight. TXG had some good commentary on this on todays review of the F9 and how using the same shaft in different heads get's very different results... It was pretty interesting

TXG F9 Driver fitting video Jan 31st. Should be interesting

TLDR, fastest ball speeds Matt has ever had... This might have convinced me to get one lol.

I called DD's though and they don't offer my shaft of choice, so that's... sort of good. Means I'm still not 100% tempted to buy one lol.

I really want to see an F9 Tour comparison to LTD fairway and LTD pro vs F9.

You and me both. Just bought an EF and a Speeder Evo V for it. But the F9 with the TS Atmos stock shaft for the price and crazy ball speeds has me tempted!

I did a LTD Pro/F9 driver comparison a few pages back. TLDR same shaft ltd gave me highest ball speed but averages were almost identical. Ltd spun less, f9 more forgiving. Ltd felt a little softer off the face for me. More testing needed.

I won't be buying one because I just bought the ltd but it was excellent.

Ah I must have missed it/forgotten. This thread is moving fast.

Yeah I think honestly the LTD is a unicorn...center strikes are probably keeping right up with F9 but I would imagine F9 maybe marginally higher on forgiveness. Honestly, that's all I really expect/need from a driver anyway. I was getting really good speeds out of this club already, nearly perfect efficiency... can't expect much more. Only way might be if I swung F9 faster which... with a lighter head and "aerodynamics" maybe that's possible. My weakness in my game isn't driving really, it's short game, especially putting. I've had a many rounds in the 80's last year with 38 and 39 putts. Granted I could blame that on bad iron shots...

Anyway, I'm trying my very very best to hold off lol. As you can see... it's not easy.
