what head weight was it people are getting? if I recall when I weighed mine, it was 200g without shaft adapter

My head weight was 196g with the 2g and 14g weights. I picked up an 18g weight to get it to 200g.

Mine was 198. I’ve got it at 206g now- playing a pro orange at 45” with cobra arccos grip at D2-D2.5.

How long did it take for you to get yours? If you don’t mind me asking. I ordered the tour length driver and fairway 3 weeks ago,and Cobra told me first of April. I also got the PO in both, and Cobra said back order was for shaft.

I placed an order for a Tour Length 9* White driver at the start of February and mine is supposedly going to ship on March 10th.

I got mine pretty early, but not directly from Cobra. I got a good deal from JD Serres. It took him a week or so to get it to me.

wow, no wonder mine felt light, with a 10-14 it is just now 200.

I ordered at 46".

Wouldn't you need a lighter head if playing extra long?

If your name is Mary.....lol.

I have played long and heavy for 3 seasons now, just works better.

I am guessing they may put some hot melt in standard or Tour heads, over length get nothing?

No clue.

My Tour is at D4, but I had them correct for the weight first then add the two 16 gram weights. My Frankenstein is the right kind of heavy.

I gotta go weigh mine now after reading these post:)

As much as you like yours, maybe you shouldn't weigh it.

... That is just so true. I put some yard in a Fly Z head when I was out in LA in 2015 and with my swing weight scale at home I just estimated. It felt a hair heavy but I hit it so well I didn't want mess with it. I normally play my driver at D1 and when I got home I measured the Fly Z and it was D7!!! I could never hit it as well after that. My very first round it just felt like a sledgehammer LOL. I knew nothing had changed by just knowing it was so heavy changed my perspective. Yea, this game isn't too mental.

If it is still 44.5” Your tour length is far, far heavier than D-4 if you have two 16’s in it. That’s 8 grams over the standard tour length weighting.

It has to be 5 or 6 points higher than D-4. It has to be Flirting with E-0.

Can anyone comment on the bore depth of the adapters? Have a shaft that currently has callaway adapter...thinking about putting a cobra tip on it but I think I may have read somewhere that cobra adapters are shallow?

They just don’t use a ferrule. They are 1.25 inch deep. If your ferrule Doesn’t come off cleanly on the Callaway shaft you will have that area exposed above the top of the Cobra Adapter. Just be very gentle removing the ferrule and try to keep the shaft pretty.

My tour came in at 44 not 44.5 directly from Cobra, we also removed the Cobra Connect grip.

Ah. I see. So it’s not actually “Tour length” anymore.

I just loaded mine up with lead tape to take it to the range today. “Rickie length”. 43.5” and D 1.5 for me.

How much weight/what does the final head weight end up being to get the 43.5" to D1.5? I have been playing my driver at that length for a few years (and love it) but I just add tape or change weights until it feels "right" and never had the swing weight actually measured. Currently have the f8+ on an ad tp 7x and may look at getting the f9 head and switching them out to compare.
