I can understand that. I prefer to work for and with smaller companies to avoid that type of corporate bureaucracy, but that comes with it's own set of problems; such as lower budgets, lack of facilities etc.

Four years ago, for the first time in my career, I had to work with a vendor to develop a system to manage the function I oversee. I got a crash course in IT security, infrastructure and functionality. It doesn't happen overnight, and you aren't going to get everything perfect in a test environment.

Still, in this day and age, I can't believe there are still people who believe you can just change some fonts and background colors and make it look like the old forum. My own opinion: Some people just have problems with transition. @Gxgolfer , I think you and the GolfWRX team are doing a great job...

The GolfWRX guys are doing a their best managing us. The fine folks at Vanilla seem to be the challenge and the ones who are a bit less responsive to the needs. They also seem to have set the expectations very high and way under delivered.

The theme is in staging validation. Once it’s approved then we schedule go live. We are pushing for this week but more likely next.

The static feedback and incremental updates are in this weeks sprint. Once we validate, will push hopefully this weekend. The theme is under Vanilla code review.

Perhaps Golfwrx should stop posting comments about what's 'coming', (or not coming), and be more concerned about why members are leaving in droves and moving to other golf forums!

Haven't been in for a while, so not sure if I'm looking at the new style, a temporary style or the 'new old' style, but whatever it is (as of 9.35pm BST 5th July 2019) I like the look of it visually. Nice clean lines etc. Can't speak for the current functionality, or the mobile version, but it loads a sight quicker than the old site, and for that it should be commended. The speed of the old one was a genuine killer for me.

The general look of the new layout is pretty ok, I have no big complaints. Have this now modern whitish and sparse color language. Like a wordpress standard theme. An advantage that new people are familiar with it. I dont particularly like it but I can live with it.

What i miss is the fuctionality from the old layout. I have seen no enhancements there.

I don't have strong feelings on the new layout vs the old... it seems fine to me... I DO like the new uploading of pictures. It is MUCH easier. I yearn for the return of feedback and load times viewing threads with many pictures seems very slow. So... fix feedback and load times and I'd be perfectly content.

Some flavor of the month driver.
Some driving iron for Links courses.

A hybrid to save my bad shots.
Titleist blades when I feel lucky otherwise something more forgiving.
A Vokey wedge or 2.
I hate every one of my 17 putters.

i hope for the sake of my OCD that the information under our user name is somewhat uniform or flows better than what it currently is.

I've finally gotten the hang of this new layout - so it makes sense that it is about to change again ha. BST feedback is at the top of my list of wants (for what it is worth). It is like the wild wild west out there right now. I have bought a couple of things recently and my fingers might be permanently crossed now. It would also be great if we could get the historical user likes back (and have that displayed in the user info under each post again). That just made it easy to see what kind of user that poster was (are they a regular contributor, are they a heavy BST poster only, etc.)

+1 to all of this. With the old user info display (likes, posts, join date, feedback) it was pretty easy to tell at a glance what kind of user any given poster was.

Edit: I also miss having "_____ liked your post" pop up in the notifications. Don't deny me that dopamine hit!
