You're going to get this answer a lot, but Discount Dan's. I ordered a digitally lofted LST from them last year. Very good experience, they know their stuff.

Yes, it's a new adapter -- Golfworks has them for about $22. I built a Rogue Silver 70x for my failed G410 Plus experiment, which I still have, and I'm planning to try it out in the LST when I can get ahold of a head.

Looking forward to your review! Did you try the Triple Diamond Sub Zero?

No, I've been using the retail SZ. I honestly don't know a lot about the different diamond heads, and the normal one gives me pretty ideal numbers. I've been struggling a bit with accuracy off the tee with it, so I'm messing with some shafts now to try to find something to tighten that up. Some extra forgiveness is the main reason that I'm interested in trying the LST.

New adapter is nice, especially with the bigger loft adjustment. I have the triple diamond now and it beat my G400LST. I have hit the G410LST and want to get it on course to compare.

Understood asking for digitally lofting measurements in the old days of glued hosels when the loft on the club was under the actual loft (the old BS macho number—Cobra was the best sometimes 2 degrees more than marked..only ones close were long drive heads). Rarely got anything near the marked number. Ping was usually about 1 degree higher than marked and would never sell anything that was under the marked value..

Fail to see why with + - 1.5 adjustability why would anyone care as nominal is much closer to marked value than the glued hosel days..

I got a chance to hit it today, side by side against the Epic flash and Cobra F9, and it blew them away...which for me was surprising. I didn’t like the G400 nor the 410 when I hit them, they tended to balloon on my. The LST with the tour 65X was right on the money. I was hitting the center of the face, gained about 4 mph in ball speed over the Flash and 6mph over the Cobra with it.

I did not expect to like it but came out of the fitting deciding to go with this...pending my hitting of the new Gen 2 PXG (Ping in another wrapper). Very pleased indeed to come back to Ping. I used their drivers consistently from the original 7.5 Rapture to the G10 and thorugh the i10...then didn’t feel the same after that offering.

Well, if you want the club to play at 8 degrees and you order a 9 that is really 10.5, the hosel adjustment isn't going to get it done.

Because some people want a certain loft without having the lie angle and face angle change that comes along with adapter adjustment. Tolerances have certainly gotten better, but you're still far from guaranteed that a 9* isn't actually going to be 10*.

Even in the old days, I never understood the desire for getting digitally loft measured. Back in those days and even today are people being fit with digitally measured clubs. NO in my experience and even if they were each shaft adapter has variability. They get their numbers with a fitting club set at a certain value but who knows what that number producing those values really is. Ping has always offered the service but only twice out of seven times was the number accurate when I had club builders remeasure them..So you can throw the measurement technique, equipment used, into the mix. I have never known any fitters using digitally measured clubs for fitting and wouldn’t trust the numbers if they were changing shafts with adjustable adapters.. The only reason I ever got it done by Ping was to try and get the lowest loft I could from a certain model. Would try their lowest lofts which in turn would produce very high trajectories. Lowest I ever got on a club marked 7.5 was 8.2... When it was remeasured later it was 8.7.. You would have had a better chance of accurate lofts in the glued hosel days, but then all they had was numerous clubs with different shafts to try, nothing was digitally measured. Probably why not one ordered club after a fitting ever produced same results. So for the last few years I just take a bunch of clubs and shafts out with whatever the system of the moment is (TrackMan 4 right now). Determine what works for me and buy that club, shaft, tip adapter..

I got fit for another company's 3 wood the other week. the fitting one had so much loft and certainly was more than 15* so I kind of got scared and didn't order. Went to a different place and tried the same setup and they head certainly had less loft.

The one I received certainly has the roughly right loft too. there is definitely a lot of variance out there. The Ping digital loft service is awesome.

So I emailed dd for a quote on G410lst Hzrdus smoke black they told me their price. Was real good. So I emailed them for a final quote just to make sure and it was $150 more than the first. Their excuse was they mistakenly quoted me for Evnflow black. Well I have 2 issue's with this for 1 evnflow is no up charge yet they quoted me with an up charge and 2 I can get a Hzrdus smoke black for $90 so why $150 up charge just doesnt make sense.

Youre not going to get any discount on ping through DD. You even have to pay for the shipping. Can't speak as to pings pricing policy but it is what it is. I've ordered a lot through DD and have been happy

DDs cannot do anything on pricing for Ping unfortunately, it’s the same with PXG. Didn’t stop me from purchasing through them though.

It’s all preference really. I like DDs because of their elite level customer service and great pricing. I never had any luck with 2ndswing unfortunately.

I’m holding off on ordering the LST until I can hit it first.

Heard today from a guy on staff with Ping that there’s likely to be significant delays with custom orders for the LST. Sounds like they’re having some manufacturing issues and aren’t getting heads out at the pace they planned. He was saying it could be August before a lot of the custom orders actually ship, though that may be the worst case scenario.
