Scroll down the page and you can see how the lofts really are, MGS measured every head in the Most Wanted 2019 testing.

 

G410 Plus 9° was at 9°, but G410SFT 10,5° was at 11,1°.

I must be missing something. Surely you square the face at address. It doesn't matter if it pointing at the ceiling when it just sat there.

I have a tour issue Epic SZ that is stamped 9* but actual loft is 9.9*. Not a big deal for 90% of golfers, but does have an effect for some. Manufacturing tolerances have tightened up some, but still some work to do it seems.

Still backordered from what folks can tell? Seeing dates of 7/10 on a couple online retailers. Was going to place an order soon to use up some credit but just wanted to see if there were any updates from those who may already have an order submitted.

I pre-ordered and just inquired about the delay.

Mine is supposed to ship on 5/30 now.

Was told that mine shipped on 30 May as well but reached out to the shop today to confirm that.

I take it back. I just had a new email saying it would ship on 7/19 now. Its considered on back order.

Est Ship date from email from DD's shows 6/12. Not sure if that's an arbitrary number or something from Ping when the order was placed yesterday.

Just heard from Golftown here in Canada that mine is back ordered as well. They cannot tell me when it will ship. Was originally scheduled to ship 30 May.

Sounds like Ping is still have the manufacturing issues. To be back ordered on a driver not even released yet is not good. Pre Orders should NEVER backorder something.

DD said my pre order from may 7 said in production so ship in about a week. I will believe it when I see it. I expect to not see it for a while

I'm told the delay is just for custom orders here in Canada. I got mine longer and heavier ....

Mine was standard everything, still delayed. I already have a Pro Orange to put into it so mine is coming with the stock Alta shaft at 9 degrees.

Ping has a massive 410 LSTdelay. Mine that I'm playing is one of two LST that was delivered in Michigan. Even local pros haven't received theirs yet.

 

The 400 LST was delayed because weights were falling out, not properly glued in. The 410 LST delay, as silly as it sounds, someone in manufacturing forget to push the send button on the initial head order... for real.

Took my g410 lst to the range today. Feels really good with a tp6x in the flat setting. Sits more square than my 400lst. Glad I got to look at these at the store, the other two looked way open. Honeymooning hard.

I ordered one on the Golf Galaxy website with the Tour 65 shaft yesterday and it shipped today. Tracking shows it will arrive on Thursday.

Golf Galaxy in Chandler AZ has a 9 degree on hold under Mike W if anyone is interested. Ended up finding one with the exact shaft I was looking for elsewhere.

TGW has them in stock with standard shafts. If you have a shaft of your own you want to put in it anyway, just get one of those and have someone switch the shafts.

The guy I talked to said that 17 heads got delivered to the Detroit area -- 4 went to Miles of Golf, and they're using them as fitting heads. The other 13 went to Carl's Golfland - not sure if they sold or are selling some of them. I'm getting mine from a seller on eBay. He had a head/shaft combo listed with a best offer, so I made an offer asking about just the head, and they accepted. Seems like I'm lucky to have been able to get one right now. Supposed to be delivered today, and I'll hopefully be able to hit it tomorrow.

Mine is apparently in production to be shipped by Friday. I ordered May 26th, but mine is a 10.5 head digitally lofted to 10.5. It should play in between an off the shelf 9.0 and 10.5 taking into account Ping’s higher than stated lofts. I liked the extra launch and stable spin of the 10.5 I demoed. Even a low heel miss did not get above 3,000 RPM. Good strikes were in the low 2Ks with 12.5 launch which is right where I want my spin and launch. This was with evenflow black 6.5 75 and ball speeds around 163 with my normal Z Star XV on a GC2.

Carl's retailed two of them, the rest are demos. I was lucky enough to be one of the two and order it to my specs, including digital lofted at 9º.

 

410 LST is everything I want it to be. The perfect next level from last years Max. Brought spin down on my miss (small cutter) which added distance and accuracy, added ball speed, and is nearly as forgiving. Well done Ping!

Sure you can manipulate the face that way but most don't want to..

Except that adjustable hosels require you to manipulate the face to effect the loft setting if different from standard.

Well I ended up picking up a 410 lst locally. They had one hidden away in their basement. They told me only 13 were shipped to Michigan in total. Kinda crazy....

 

Not exactly the shaft I was planning on in it though. Came with an evenflow black 70g. Now to decide if I want to still order a ventus for it after I test the atmos black coming from the bst.

 

My head sits perfectly square. Much more so than most drivers I have ever owned.

 

Excited to test it out this afternoon along with the garmin g80 I picked up on a whim. :#
