IMO... The new Titleist TS2 18* 5-wood w/ the Tensei AV, is as long and versatile as anything out there. The fact that it comes stock with real deal shaft options, has a lot of appeal.

I made the transition from a driving iron to a 5 wood for the carry yardages at my new course. I tried everything I could get my hands on and then tried some in the used club section. Med footprint, really good feel with the tour Green 75 and consistent. Great price as well! The GBB was adjustable so I tried it as well but the fixed hosel Rogue just felt better and fit the yardage I wanted. That being said, I demo’d the GBB 3-wood that was there as well and ended up buying it too. Both are in the bag.

Never been a Cally fan boy mainly due to the pricing, but the older models fit the bill as well as the new ones in most cases.

Using a Titleist 906f2 18* w/ aldila NV 75 stiff. Its a comfortable and safe club in my bag. Previously was using a Callaway x hot pro 17* w/ purple ice stiff, which was my favorite fairway wood of all time until it broke. I have tried the newer stuff, but I don't like how they come stock with lightweight shafts.

I had a Taylormade 2007 Burner that was my money club. Just couldn't replace it and I still have it. For me a 5 wood isn't about getting more distance or being hot, it's about getting the same distance out of it each time and being straight and forgiving. The beginning of this year I picked up a Taylormade M3 -5 wood for almost nothing new. I'm still tinkering with the loft but it is very consistent and solid.

Just bought an F9 5-6 and it is easily the best fairway wood I have ever hit, and I own a bunch of 5 woods. I also then picked up the 7-8 as well. I let a friend try it and right down the middle. We call it my cheater club.

My Callaway Rogue 5 wood is magical off the tee and fairway. That said, I have dabbled with the Epic Flash heavenwood and it's basically as long as my 3 wood off the deck and off the tee. Interested to try the 3 & 5 Epic Flash.

I put a Titleist 917F2 18* head lofted down to 17.25 with a Rogue Black 80X tipped an inch and a half overall in play last year as a replacement for my 3 wood which I hit as near as makes no difference as far as my driver. The thing is a rocket launcher and super easy to hit as long as I do my part. No matter what, a bad swing is a bad swing. That said, I'm very fond of this setup, but there are a whole lot of great options out there. The Titleist 915 and 917 are great options as are the new TS fairway woods. If a glued shaft isn't a deal breaker, I would highly recommend the Callaway Steelhead XR 4+ or 5 wood. These went under the radar, but were great fairway woods. Going a good ways back, the Taylor Made V-Steel and Cleveland Quadpro and Launchers were excellent options as well.

Just saw a SLDR 5 wood at my local golf galaxy with a 80 g stiff Motore TP shaft for $40 in the used bin...

I've got a whole bevy of TEE 5 woods, from XCG6, XCG7Beta, E8 Beta, EX10 Beta and CBX, so, luckily I was able to resist picking up the SLDR.

I've been a TEE faithful for the last decade but recently picked up a Cobra F7 "Lexi blue" 3-4 head (same as the men's 5-6) and it's been a revelation. Super solid feeling and much less hook prone for me than my old TEE. I'm smitten and the fact that the head (brand new) was only $45 is a bonus. Liked it so much I also bought a Lexi hybrid and it's likewise awesome. Cobra is on their game these days.

My F6+ Baffler is my favorite club in the bag. I’d probably be happy with any cobra wood with rails, but the small head on the baffler is perfect.

Preeeaaach. I just made a post on another fairway wood thread about this. I try everything I can get my hands on when it comes out because I'm an equipment geek, but nothing so far is surpassing my 2007 Burner 18 degree 5 wood. That thing was a generational club. At best I can find something that matches it, so why buy anything? There's a reason they still go for $70-80 used after 12 years.

I have a 2016 M1 set at 19 degrees with a white oban in it. This thing is crazy consistent for me from the fairway and off the tee.

TM M2 in 18 degrees is definitely my favorite. Its long and easy to hit.

Haven’t been playing for as long as some of the members on here but I love my 913F 5 wood. Loved it with the blue Diamana and now have the Fujikura pro as it’s grown alongside my game.

Titleist 980F Pro trajectory 19* was my favourite

Now have a G30 18* ing -1 setting that I am messing around with liking it so far it is giving me the high soft landing flight to the yardage I want.

3 woods are just going a distance to close to driver and was only using it off the tee
