Have been thinking about your post and went back to look at the tour protos

Looking back at the tour protos that these are supposed to be based on, they all seem to have 25 and 30s

Probably to make up for the thinner topline etc

Man that would be weird to have to source 30 gm weights not for standard 350, but hey, just grows the accessory market for Scotty even more

glad to hear these will be like the proto!! Would love to see a Newport with no neck just a double bend hosel, not a face balanced square back but a Newport that’s face balanced. Either way will cop one of these when they drop!

Yep, I remember buying the studio style np2 over the studio select that was out because the sole on the studio style was more like tigers. The studio select had a more rounded sole.

Well looks like golfer64 description was accurate and they have them in his store based on that photo, fits his description exactly. Only thing that’s weird is the buttons in the cherrys, how can it not have an insert?

I would think a milling machine Would be able to leave a button of stainless in the middle of the bomb. Or even 3D printed?

Picture looks too blurry to tell, but the hosel looks like a Tour Super Rat with the intent (at least to my eye). I agree with previous post, the buttons to date have alway indicated an insert, which fits with my super Rat theory. The shaft band contradicts my own idea though, as that looks retail.

you can tell from that photo that there a buttons on the back??? to me it looks like the standard 3 red dots we have seen before

My guess is very shallow threading in the "bolts".

You can clearly see the three rings, but they appear to be silver/chrome in the middle, hence the buttons within the red dots.

But I mean what would be the point of the bolts if they aren’t holding anything in place. You don’t just put bolts in for looks

Scotty has always preffered the industrial look. My guess is they are purely aesthetic. There may be some marketing jargon behind it, but I'd bet they're just there to get away from the cherry bombs.

They Style had more of the classic Tri Sole & a smaller heal to toe for Scotty NP2's. I love looking down at it......

I think it's from some Social Media influencers and instructors who got a sneak peek in SoCal of all the Cameron and Vokey offerings for the next. Breed was there, Trillium Rose was there, etc...

It would be so incredibly disappointing to have the shape be spot on to the Protos we’ve seen on Tour but with fake glued on screws/bolts in the back cavity.

But it would not surprise me at all...

I hope that’s just glare of some sorts in those cherry dots. A button back look with no functional purpose for the screws just seems dumb.
