Just got my second 2.1 but this one is with the Stability Shaft and the 3 sight lines. I’m putting with both on an indoor putting green as it’s raining today but first impressions is that the Stability Shaft makes the head on the 2.1 feel much lighter than the standard. I do like the extra sight lines but I have been putting very well with the standard. Going to be interesting which ones stays in the bag.

You might find that one is more suitable for different green speeds. I have a couple with different swing weights. I have a lighter one with a BGT that I like on really slick greens.

I was going to put one on the BST but I think I’ll follow your advice. I do play some places with really quick greens and other places that slow their greens as the difficulty is off the tee and hazards.

I finally took a look when these putters popped up in my IG feed. Interesting, maybe even great. But there isn’t a chance I pay sticker. It’s outrageously priced IMHO. It’s not alone in this respect, so I’m not singling out this specific company.

Agreed. They are way too expensive without some sort of demo program or presence in retail. It's really hard to commit over $650 CAD for a putter. That being said...i would 100x over pay for a putter like this...with potentially game changing tech...than pay the same for a Scotty or Toulon that is no different than any other stick for $125 (technologically speaking)

At least they have something here. If it was in the $450/500 range I would have purchased one already.

Look at their website $399 for both models. Also you use your putter more than your driver per round, yet people have no problem paying $500+ for a driver and much more if you get a custom shaft. https://labgolf.com

Its definitely spendy but the price is truly dictated by cost. Our margin on these putters is fractions of what other OEMs make ion their putters. Consider that, with the exception of the shaft and some of our grips, the putter is made entirely in the USA. Also, the balancing process is no joke. Some of our putters can take up to 45 minutes to balance. Each putter is made from scratch and when you throw in all the custom options, it really does cost A LOT to make.

Yes, standard KBS shaft. Didn’t like the stability tour at all, not sure if it was just in my head but the weighting felt a little off, especially on shorter putts. The KBS felt perfect for my stroke.

Sam, I’m loving my 2.1 and the virtual fitting was spot on. From your comment above, it got me thinking. Do you have any illustration anywhere of what exactly the lie angle balancing entails? This is purely a curiosity of mine as I understand what it does from the revealer, and the importance of lie angle as a fitting spec. I’m just having a hard time visualizing what exactly the lie angle balancing is, and how it’s accomplished.

So I finally got a chance to get out with my new 2.1 yesterday. I spent about 2 hours playing around with it on the practice green over the last couple weeks. First round on the course, 28 putts on bumpy Ohio winter greens. 9 one putts and 1 three putt (lipped out second putt). To be totally transparent there were a few putts not counted from just off the green. GIR was not very good yesterday. As a few others have stated my buddies laughed at the looks of the putter but by the end of the day wanted to know all about it. I could not be happier with how this putter performs. Thank you LAB Golf for this game changer.

Lowest putts per round ever with my 2.1 yesterday. ..by 4 putts. It wasn't iron game either because I hit those pretty bad.

Now to find a custom headcover big enough for this puppy. Kind of mad I just spent a bunch of money on an evnroll right before this lol.

got to putt with my new 2.1 with Stability shaft and 3 sight lines the other day when I went to work on my game and spent around 30 mins on the practice green. Was very surprised at how easy I could see the line when I pt the putter behind the ball. The other 2.1 I have is the the single line (the T shape). It also set up well but just something about the 3 lines just clicked with my eyes. Makes me feel that if I read it correctly I’m going to make it. No worries about my stroke, just find the line and let it go.

as stated before it feels much lighter with the Stability Shaft but I had no issues with longer putts when I practiced. Going to play a very good course with very quick greens next Wednesday (18th). Course is very tough and the greens are not just quick but huge with lots of movement. Cannot wait to test out the new Mavrik with Ventus Black but the new 2.1.

Is anyone aware of the effects of cutting down one of the 2.1? I generally playing putters around 32". Of I found the correct lie, and cut Tommy preferred length, would this throw off the balancing?

Shouldn't impact the balance much if at all as long as you replace it with the same grip. Depending on what length the putter is now, it WILL have a big impact on swing weight. This can be mitigated with lead tape applied in a specific way. Email us through the website and we can take you through it if need be

Keep saving your pennies until you can upgrade to one of these putters. The tech WORKS ! You will be well pleased with the performance -- more balls dropping in the bottom of the cup in less strokes.
