Tiger hit the ball just as far when he won the US Amateur as he did when he won the US Open by 15 shots. Bulking up didn't give him much more distance.

What it did do to him was make him a cripple for a while.

He posted yesterday he is up to 201 ball speed.

 

I don’t remember him being over 175-177 in ball speed last year. If he got all the way up to 201 that is an amazing feat. Who knows if it will translate into success, but dang that is impressive gains if he is telling the truth. I can’t wait for some shot tracer holes with him tee’ing off to see if he is legit that fast.

I completely agree, totally suspect. That is insane, but I honestly hope it is true and I also hope he plays well. I would love to here the Brandel take on this. Either way. Bryson got me interested in his 2020. If in his first event and on shot tracer all he gets is 179 ball speed we will know that it is totally false claims and juiced monitors. If he busts one 185+ then he was on to something speed wise.

I remember when Brandel got a huge Tiger boner when Tiger hit 182 MPH and essentially said he’s really back this time. I also remember when Tiger started winning again with ballspeeds between 164-170 because he could control it. The question is can Bryson control 185-200 MPH ballspeeds.
