$139.99 and immediate feedback is these feel a touch light. I think most would want to get the weight kit. Sound and feel are pleasant.

Ok, the thing that I'm wondering is why do these putters have a counter core (assuming it has the 50g weight in the grip) SS grip if the head is only 340g? I can see why it would feel light...first thing i'd probably do is take the counter balance weight out.

And I agree with the assessment above. Light touch, the counter-weight does it's thing. Check out the weight kit when they put it online.

 

It's a nice putter, rolls the ball well - but in the end,I'm a flow neck guy so I probably won't keep this.

So, there I am. I did not sleep well last night and just took it easy today to recharge. Evening is around the corner, so I decide to go to the monument of consumerism in Carlsbad to grab a pie for a nutritious family dinner. Harmless proposition, right? I have 20 minutes to kill, so I did what any other irresponsible adult would do. I entered the warehouse with a cart and things went to hell in a hand basket fast. Nearly $500 later, I picked up some essentials and several non essentials, including the elusive Kirkland putter that has been in the pipeline for what seems an eternity.

The putter itself is well made and seems like it could compete with most off the rack OEM offerings. Those chasing the elusive boutique feel and sexiness will be disappointed. The putter itself is just not for me. The head is ginormous with a top line as wide as Rosie O'Donnell's yapper when she is on a tirade. I'm on the taller side, so 34.5" is a bit short and it goes without saying that it is not the fault of the putter. When it comes to weight, it's the opposite of Rosie as it is very light.

All in all, it's a nice product but at $140, it is not going to come close to causing a disruption in the putter market. Hopefully the ultra elusive future wedge offering will be a different story. This one will get heavy carpet duty for the foreseeable future and be a conversation piece when I can start entertaining in my home again.

The weight kit only has 5 & 15g weights. Stock is 10g. It doesn't seem like the 15g weights (extra 10g) will add much more weight to the head especially if you add more weight to the counter core grip. A 20-30g option would be nice. Anyone think it will be possible to use one of the generic weights that are available in heavier weights?

Ya. Would roll good on very slow greens at that weight. Would need probably 25-35 more grams head weight I would think

For all wondering, there is no additional counter core weight installed. I unscrewed the tip of the grip and it is just the cap.
