That’s hardly just Cameron. Most milled putters prices are pretty high. Retail prices for milled putters have crept closer and closer to some custom boutique putter brands, even exceeding some. For me it just makes guys like Lajosi and Byron, to name a few, that much more of a deal. At least for their prices you have mostly total input on the design.

I'm just going to throw this out there....

The beloved original 4pc ksig was $75 for 4 dozen after shipping/taxes. So $18.75/dozen or $1.5625/golf ball. Comparable competitors were at $3.66 to $4 per golf ball. That means the ksig was 39.1% to 42.7% the price of comparable competitors. Pretty substantial.

Now, pre-tax, the Ksig putter is $140. A fair direct competitor would be Odyssey, whose current line is $250. That means the ksig is 56% the price of odyssey. If you get the weight kit, which I'm guessing a lot of you will since 340g is too light for most people's preference, you're looking at 70% the cost of a full priced odyssey.

My point is, costco sucked you in with a massive 60% cut reduction in their original golf ball and now you are head over heals to get a 44% cost reduction on a putter. The primarily difference between the golf balls and putters is golf balls don't drop in price much. A $4 golf ball usually never goes below $3 vs a $250 oddyssey putter will be selling brand new for somewhere in the $130-175 range the following season.

Buying the putter because you want it is one thing but if you are buying this because you view it as a "deal" just be aware that this isn't in the same ballpark as what the 4pc Ksigs were. The Ksig putter should have been priced at $100 to give a similar value.

Wouldn’t a more appropriate comparison be another milled putter? The Odyssey putters for $250 (Triple Track right?) are cast putters. Pricing is almost always lower than CNC milled putters.

When it comes down to it I would rather give my money to Costco than Callaway. I can't stand Sean Toulon, Jason Finley or anyone in the Zoo Crew. They don't deserve my money.

Original photos looked good but the real ones kinda have that lipstick on a pig vibe. For the price though it would be a good one to keep in a backup bag or for traveling. Hopefully they hit the east coast soon or they just put them online.

I called my local costco since back in the day they had a pallet of ksigs when nobody else had them. SF bay area store...They did not have the putter, did not have it on order, and said that there were none destined for northern CA...at least for now. So I guess I'll have to wait. I'd be willing to try it, but not to pay up for it.

I guess my original 4 piece ksigs that I still have (5 sleeves of them) are still in demand, not sure how 'hot' this putter is going to be.

I think this will be a different animal than the original 4 piece K-Sigs. The balls were extremely cheap and performed great. The putter is relatively cheap at $139, but it's not in the price range where you will buy them all up like the balls. That being said, I hope I get a chance to score one at retail and give it a run with my 10 boxes of 4 piece K-Sig balls

Had a buddy ship me one from a store in LA and got it in today. I've rolled it a few times inside on carpet and have a few observations. Will follow up after I'm able to take it out on the course this weekend

For background: I've only gamed two putters in the last 15 years - the first a Scotty Cameron Newport Studio Stainless CS and more recently an Evnroll ER7 mallet. I have a really opinionated eye and won't game a product that I don't like the look from the top. I bought this putter as a fun experiment knowing that it likely won't replace the Evnroll however the larger shape of the KS1 played a part in the purchase as I almost bought the Evnroll ER2 before ultimately going with the mallet.

Design: Overall the putter is well built and from the top view looks well above its price tier. The graphics are a bit tacky but nothing overly crazy (looking at you T22). I have mixed feelings on how durable the putter will beFeel: Good but more "clicky" than I expected. I would put it similar to a TM TP feel than Scotty Cameron, Bettinardi or more recently Mizuno. The KS1 isn't remotely as soft as the SC or the ER72 pics below

Thanks for the pics. The top down pic doesn’t look nearly as big as I was thinking it’d be. Obviously from your post one is the Scotty and one is the ks1. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if it wasn’t for the center shaft. Well done Costco.

agree. K Sig messed this one all up and as someone said it does look like the mizuno (which also looks bad). Hmmm I wonder if they made the putter for Costco

Does anyone have any onside intel if these putters will make our way to Canada? We never saw the four piece ball but we currently have the 3 piece ball in stock @ our 2 locations in Durham Region. Thanks Again.

In @norcaltrojan ’s pic, you don’t think the two putters look the same?!? Very minor differences. I wouldn’t be surprised if the “inspiration “ for the ks1 was that very model of scotty tbh.
I’ll have to go find what this Mizuno putter looks like you speak of.
