I’m not a putter ho like some are so I don’t notice things like weights sets being sold with putters often, I’ve certainly never have purchased a putter with weight sets.

i also don’t think there much downward pressure on prices across the board either.

but I disagree on putting is the easiest. Perhaps easiest to execute a good stroke, but the precision and touch Needed is not necessarily able to be taught - imo.

Aren't most weight sets NOT included with putters that have removable weights? Scotty Cameron charges like $150 and Odyssey is $50. We don't know how much the Kirkland kit will be but it also includes a weight fot the Superstroke grip which is $10 in itself. I doubt Costco will charge more than $50.

Back when I used to buy odyssey, my works 7 and works 1 putters came with weight kits. The previous model did too. I'm guessing they did away with including them after that.

If anyone doesn't like it, after one round or one year, they can take it back for a refund. Costco is friggin' great. There's no downside except for players who are obsessed with appearances -- and even then, just stick a Scotty or Lamb cover or whatever on it and just play on. It doesn't look so distinctive that your partners are going to ask to hit it on the second hole.

Remember this is not a big batch of putters. Looks like a one time run on these. So with enough time any manufacture big or small could produce these. Once you see it in person you might be able to speculate who made it. But we’ll have to wait and see.

I was listening to a recent podcast that focuses on golf equipment testing... and they allude to Costco going all in on balls, putters and a 3 piece wedge set. So maybe the limited run someone was talking about is just the first batch.

Huge mistake. A putter is the worst thing to try and sell. Because people buy putters for a lot of reasons besides performance. One of the reasons is name brand and sexiness. There are lots of putter that perform but nobody will buy.

With the golf ball or driver they could show people launch monitor numbers and prove it performs

Costco. And, not only do they give you a full refund, in some cases, they pay you back twice (once for the refund and a second payment if you physically returned the balls).

While correct in the instance, I doubt they would do the double pay back continually. Their return policy is great though isn’t it?!?
