Yeah, I called me local Costco yesterday and they have in system as a "new item" but no official release date -- lady mentioned most likely because of the water/tp stocking priorities etc. Will check back in a week or two and see if they add a date to the system here. Well, if you live in one of the select markets then the putter will be available eventually...toilet paper will be available for a few minutes when they open tomorrow, so there's that!

I can't fathom why anyone would be ready to drop $100+ on a Costco putter, sight unseen, while passing up perfectly solid Cleveland and Wilson putters at the same price point.

Because they have the best return policy in the business and if you end up not liking the putter you can return it a year later.

All you have to do to create "hype" is say xyz product is comparable to .

Like did you know Top Flight Balls play similar to a Titleist ball that has been plasti-dip, then dipped in cement and then sand the cement down until it is 1/10000 thick and place the ball out in a red sun and when the ball color changes to the same color of a Titlesit ball, the ball will be ready to play. Total Cost: 0.01 per ball if you buy your own cement mixer.

Who says I'm passing up Wilson and Cleveland putters? I have gamed plenty of different putters from a variety of manufacturers. I like messing around with new equipment. Although I'm not wealthy, I don't see $150 as a major investment to buy a putter that is very limited in supply.

Gotta wait still guys no new updates. As with previous Costco golf related releases they have been released around the time of the Masters. So with that being postponed I’m not sure when it will come out. But I do still see them sitting on hold at the depot.

can Someone who’s has knowledge around the different types of steel comment on the type of steel that’s being used for the Kirkland putter and compare/contrast vs other types of steel in putters?

 

and is it just me or does the putter look more like a mid mallet in width rather than a thinner styled (think ping Anser) blade putter?

It’s a legit putter made by a well named manufacturer. But I am not allowed to say. My manager says it has to do with the contract with the builder. But it’s a very good quality putter worth double the price. Say what you want, believe me or not. I’ve only tried to help and provide the most accurate information to you all. But this Covid thing screwed up all sorts of stuff. Sorry I gave hope and a release date but we where almost within sight. I personally sold my itsy bitsy spider for this putter. So I really struck out.
