At address they influence movement. They are heavy to lift in the backswing and bottom out whereas the Callaway don’t and swing through fine. Makes sense? The heads are really heavy I mean you. An just tell when you lift them. The grips and shafts feel really light

@Paddy_2_Iron come on man. There’s a bunch of us that pretty much told you step for step on how to go about returning the irons and getting your money back. Either take the advice we’ve given you and demand your money back, or eat your loss and stop posting nonsense. If you honestly think that exchanging those knockoffs for, wait for it.....another set of knockoffs that are MBs, is in any way a solution to this situation.... We won’t be able to help you out

Here’s the deal, Paddy boy. You have no contingency plan. You get your money back. Any sort of exchange and you’re still screwed like I and many others said previously. The clubs are junk. The shafts are junk. You get those muscle backs, then complain they don’t work for you and you’re in the same spot you’re in now. Zero resale value. I mean none at all.

Go be a man and get your money back. Don’t wimp out this time.

Weight is measure. In clubs it is either total static weight or swing weight. What I’m asking you is which metrics did you use to decide that they’re too heavy? If you say “feel”, I say you’re most likely wrong. I’m not being cruel but you have no frame of reference to make that determination.

Paddy you think you know a lot but your knowledge on basic club fitting terminology is nonexistent.

The key to you successfully getting your money back depends on your understanding of the terms swingweight and total weight and asking them to provide those measurements for the club you demoed and then the set they built you. If they truly are very heavy, you will be able to see the different measurements between your clubs and the one you demoed, and have a stronger case for returning them.

If you just go in there without understanding either of these things and demanding measurements and just whining about them “feeling heavy”, you have no shot and you’re going to walk back out of there and haul that heavy junk back into your car.

All of this ultimately depends however on you having the intestinal fortitude to actually get out of the parking lot this time and go inside though.

Dont be a dummy. Do 10 minutes of homework on understanding the basics of swingweight and total weight.

Jonsey , I mean OP is going to ask how to qualify for the tour. How does he find mini tours and can he beat Tiger with knockoffs.

Or he is just really naive.

Bottom line. Get some clubs you like in every way. Weight, feel and looks and are to hit. Whatever that mean is up to you.

Once you have that. If you want lessons I would look elsewhere and not take lessons from these guys.

Then. Go. Have. Fun .....

@mizuno player
I think what's being lost here is the fact I'm not a great player. If I was single digit firing at pins then I believe the equipment would mean a lot more. That is part of the reason why I went knockoff or wasn't afraid too.
I honestly don't know what clubs I like. The hawkeyes seem to do okay, 5 - 9 I can hit usually well, 70% chance its going high in the air and relatively straight.
To be completely honest I'm starting to get concerned with my drive. I don't feel Im as accurate as when I first got the club. Very concerning, the two things I wanted to work on this year driver wedges....
Anyway Hurley sent some Mizuno's my way for 399, 6 - pw. Those are fairly chunky but not over the top like these wide soles. (Still pissed I bought these damn things). I hated the old callaway berthas and I go and buy these. That's why I was thinking the muscle backs might be the way to go. They have the cavity and the bottom part looks a little thicker for low miss hits. I think....
Anyway I am going to ask for some sort of compensation when I go up tomorrow. I hate these irons.

Did you just contradict your previous five pages defending the knockoffs?

And now you think musclebacks might be the solution?

To quote Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Kirk Lazarus, in the movie “Tropic Thunder”....”You done went full ‘tard!”

The prosecution rests!

I feel like I’m in an abusive relationship. Every time that I say I’m done with Paddy he “sweet talks” me back into engaging. I feel ashamed and dirty but here I am bared for all to see. I went from defending(?) him, to chastising him and now I pity him. What I am steadfast on is this: he will not get back a single cent of his money. You’re all insane if you think these crooks are refunding him. It will not happen. He should try if for nothing else but dignity and pride, however.

I tend to agree, but I’m thinking of myself in the situation and I wouldnt be leaving until I got refunded. But then again, I would never put myself in that position to begin with so who knows.

Based on the mindset and attitude Paddy has displayed so far, I’ll set the odds at 15:1 of him recouping anything. I have no confidence that he’ll bring up any of the talking points discussed here if he even has the stones to confront them.

I really appreciated your feedback in regards to the Hawkeyes and took you for your word when you said you fitted for a profession back in the day AND hit a ton of the hawkeyes. I personally thought you added the most value that's why I was directly engaging you.

Either way I do appreciate your feedback and I agree the way they responded initially when I asked for my money back for the 3 hybrid wasn't very encouraging.

Hence why I was thinking lesser of two evils, if I could get them to swap the heads or put these shafts on my hawkeyes would that be best case scenario assuming what you assume is correct (they wont give me back my money).

That's the part I am struggling with. I'm working off the assumption they will say no and if they say NO, would one of these be a decent alternative? New heads or shafts on hawkeyes. I really dont see this as a troll comment to be honest, its a freaking realistic ask?!

One more thing the main guy who I forged a relationship with will be up there. I am going tomorrow and see about getting my last lesson in and then springing my money back question. Or one of the alternatives.

Are the masterfit shafts potentially better than the stock hawkeyes? Age and all factored in?

Why is this a weird thread? I bought some irons that are really heavy and are hard to hit and I am now theorizing ways of recouping money if they dont give me my money back.

Thoughts on shaft swap or getting new heads, such as the muscle backs.

Just for the record I just took an logic and aptitude assessment on INDEED.com and received expert marks in both categories so it's not me being dull or dense.....

If they still refuse after you ask them to demonstrate your club and the demo are the same total/swingweight (and assuming they’re not), then just cut your losses. Drop the irons and the hybrid on the floor and walk out. At least that way you won’t have to waste extra money on gas lugging around the additional weight from putting them back in the trunk.

I pray this isn't real, haha. What a read.
In case it is real, @Paddy_2_Iron there are zero answers for you equipment wise at whatever this "Masterfit" place is. I've seen this before and i've seen the type of people that get ripped off by it. You aren't in a position to making any educated or informed decisions about equipment based on your posts. If you are serious, please take up someone in this thread for help picking out some quality gear. For the same amount of money you paid for expired ground beef, you could have had steak.
If this thread ISN'T real, then I hope it continues in perpetuity and becomes GolfWRX legend. ?
