Not much. All I know is they need to make another Koren Mustang. 🙂 However, they are about to really skyrocket here in the US, once the GV80 and GV70 hit the shores. (GV70 is on my shortlist)

I was a huge tuner car nut until stuff broke too much. Also got married, had a kid, couldn't keep up with $1500-$3000 repairs and go fast parts with any sort of conscience. Now I keep everything pretty close to stock. Golf is where I can mod the crap out of my clubs, and compared to cars its a million times cheaper. Some favorites are GT350R, GT2RS, Civic Type R, c7 z06, 1st Gen Mazda Speed3. Moding and tuning cars for me has been much more fun from the outside looking in.

That picture reinforces my joy in the fact that I live on the Texas coast. I absolutely cannot stand cold weather, especially cold wet snowy weather. The year I spent in New Jersey was miserable, and it was nothing as bad as that!

Haha, it's not for everyone! I've gotten used to it, i mean days when it's like -25C i'm definitely not a big fan of it. But anything like -10C or warmer is really no problem.

I love driving in the snow though, it's really a lot of fun. I take all the back roads home and try and get a bit sideways. Going through a corner really hard in the snow to me anyway, it's kinda like puring a 3 iron....it just feels awesome

I had a ton of fun driving my 2wd regular cab F150 with a stick shift through the snow. Got plenty sideways on purpose in some vacant areas. But, when it is cold enough for snow to stick around, it’s just too cold for me. I’ve never had to get used to it in my 40 years, and I think that ship has sailed for me. When it gets that cold, I start hurting in my hands, back and knees, and I just cannot get warm no matter how many layers I put on.

Might have a big storm coming Wednesday to the north east. Where I live in MA, last season we had 4 inches total, and it was all on one day, Dec 3. 2019. That was it. Gotta put the snows on tomorrow on the FJ. 🙂

Also, if anyone can tell me why my pictures now show up as attachments, rather than images, I would appreciate it. Obviously not a tech guy, since I like 50 year old cars.

HEIC is an non-universal file format that is iPhone/Apple specific.

Need to convert them to a more accepted file format (i.e. jpg) and then upload.

Another solution is to get away from apple products all together (because they do this stuff all. the. time. but that's a different discussion altogether. 😉 )

Wasn't able to get a pic because I was driving, but the wife and I had the pleasure of tailing an McLaren 720 yesterday in the Atlanta area. Followed him onto the on ramp of GA400 in Forsyth County where he laid into it. Amazing sound and flames coming from exhaust. I did some googling this morning. This is definitely her. Also spotted in Atlanta earlier this month!

Supposed to get some snow tomorrow ranging between 5"-24" depending on which model is true, depends on the path. Put snows on the FJ on Sunday. I remember when 30 lbs per wheel/tire combo was heavy when racing and swapping wheels was easy. These were 60lbs each over 6 studs, trying not to strip the threads going on? Oof.

I posted in this thread way back towards the beginning, and I'm not the same kind of "car enthusiast" as the rest of you. But, here's my current baby. '99 base model SL with manual transmission. It doesn't look it, but it's honestly a ton of fun to drive. Total cost OTR: ~$2,300.

I had a 93 SL2 that I got for $500 with 120k miles on it. I put a new radiator in it, changed the brakes/rotors/tires, kept oil in it, and drove it for a couple winters. Sold it to a cousin up in maine and it lasted another 8-10 years.

Yeah man, got that solid GM engineering behind them. Mechanicals are pretty bulletproof. Mine had about 120k when I first got it, now about 175k. I plan to get at least 300k out of it. I bought her for $1k. Put about $1k into her to pass inspections, and replaced spark plugs and wiring. The previous owner had replaced the radiator - a sure weak point for Saturns, it seems.

I've got no power steering, no power locks or windows. Very little to go wrong.

Plus for my job, I have to drive in a lot of places where you wouldn't want to take most of the cars in this thread. You're either going to get jacked, or come out and find the thing missing. No one wants to mess with a Saturn, and very few of today's car thieves can drive a stick.

Car guy here since birth....kinda been out of the game for the last 7-8 years. I've had way to many or not enough cars in my 26 years of driving. Wish I still had most of them, but Marriage, House, Kids, etc. took over my priorities. Here's a quick rundown I can remember: (highlighted ones I wish I still had).

First car; 81 Chevy Malibu, 89 S-10, 87 BMW 325i, 71 Nova, 95 & 97 Civic Hatchbacks, 98 S-10, 68 Vw Ghia, 64 Vw Bug w/sunroof, 00 Tacoma, 55 Vw Ragtop bug, 69 Vw Ghia, 67 Vw Bug, 62 Chevy II, 61 Vw Ghia, 67 Vw Bug, 66 Vw Ghia, 57 Vw Canadian Standard Bug, 53 Chevy 5 window pickup, 66 Chevy II, 65 Vw Ghia, 73 Vw Thing, 67 Vw Buggy, 67 Firebird, 59 Vw Lowlight Ghia, 79 El Camino, 12 Scion Tc Release Series (still own the 2 in blue).

Every one of these vehicles was fixed up in some form or fashion. A few were more race inspired, a few cruisers, a few Show cars. God I wish I had the money they're all worth today.
