Well that one photo just made them look very mediocre. Very reasonable to doubt the looks. Especially after the 919 Tours looked really great from day one, I still remember that picture of the clubhead.

I think the tour looks a lot better than the 919t. I never liked the way the cavity runs into the hosel. 921t looks like a complete cavity. I’m preordering a set on Friday. Still torn on what way to go. I may add a 4 and 5 in the forged. I hope they bring out a 3 iron in the HMP to use as a driving iron! ?

All the but tours looks better compared to 919 (altho the difference is slight). I think I might even like the looks of the tours as much as they 919 if it wasnt for that thin strip of plastic or whatever in middle. Maybe it wont matter for performance and I'll still try it out and see. But the interest in the tours would be for a blade like club with a bit more forgiveness. But once you add some non-metal on there it feels even less blade-like. Not sure what they were thinking there unless there's some real performance add. And that seems doubtful because its so small, more just a cosmetic fail.

That is a good point. The tour does not need any damn plastic on the back of it. I can’t wait to see these in person Friday ?

Looks wise maybe the 921 Forged is an improvement over the 919, especially if the offset is eliminated, hence the fact I have the 919 HMP. But the 921 Tour and 921 HMP are meh with the logo in the cavity. 919 HMP’s are safe in the bag.

The MP will always be traditional, with JPX being more trendy. Hopefully that changes because 919 tours were on par with the MP20 to me

921 Forged will be same price as MP20 HMB.

Hot metals are same as JPX919’s.

They look amazing, I was told that they are supposed to be more stable and more forgiving. I will probably end up with the Forged in the bag but I did order a set of Tours also to try because they look easier to hit than the past 2 models, even with the thinner top line!

Shorter heel to toe, thinner top line, less offset. I didn’t like the look of the past Forged irons but I love the way these look!

They really should put the Tours in the MP line and move the HMB to the JPX line.

From a purely cosmetic standpoint, I think the tours look a lot better. The 919s are great looking clubs, but to get them perfect (for me) I spent a lot of time removing the JPX lettering and those 3 lines that run across the back. The 921 doesn’t have any of that, which is cooler I think.

I think I’m going to grab 5-9, change up the lofts and lie angles the way I want them, and just play hybrids at the top and my RTX for PW. I can’t really justify another full set of Mizunos after buying the 919s in November but I know myself, I’ll break down and get the 921s eventually.

edit: Just looked again and saw the lines & JPX stamp. That’s gotta come off!
