Oh lord... I’ve been playing golf for 2 years and have been playing with a set of used clubs I got off eBay since then. With no reason to be searching s*** about golf clubs, why would I have found WRX? 
 

And where did you get “connections in the industry” from? I went to Nevada Bob’s and got fitted from the person who greeted me first. That person, in turn, told me when to expect them.
 

Is this place always this toxic?

The Embargo date has been moved up from December to later this month. But not the release date.   And i think they just wanted to separate the irons and driver release info to give each one it’s own attention.

Well all your initial posts were vague.  The place i went orsered from some sales dude.

I think a few did mention it wasn't accurate.  And your acknowledgement of having bad info came off as condescending.   But that’s all good.   Hope you get your irons soon.   Buti suspect you’ll soon hear it will be January.  Signed Boomer....LOL

Didn't intend to come across condescending at all. Just was saying it doesn't seem likely they'd be arriving this soon is all.

That's pretty damned uncalled for.  He could have handled things better for sure, but you made your point and stayed clean while doing it.  Slinging insults about age and weight, which in no way were part of the conversation, doesn't highlight you in a positive way dude.

And this is a prime example and the reality @SPIFof the overly sensitive world we are living in where people read everything between the lines because it’s the Internet. Adding my context so that the mods will clean it up, but I don’t think it was malicious, but more than a friendly chirp.

I wouldn’t expect it before January but their CS staff and communication is very conservative. They tend to under promise.

Whats funny is, I’ve lost 50 pounds since that picture was tsken last Nov. So the belly  comment was not inaccurate 😬

 

But the Boomer part....LOL.  Now thats about as far off as it can be.    
 

My comments were mostly meant in sarcasm.  I mean someone brand new signup coming into a thread and contradicting what everyone else has said for the entire thread, including those of us who are in the industry and have info directly from the OEM.   
 

It’s all good, he’s rightfully excited about his new clubs as we all get.

Same. I play off a +.5 and have played game Improvement irons the last few years just because that added forgiveness seems like a no brainer.  I haven't felt like I've lost anything with shot shaping ability playing the 585s the last few years and they also look really good for a more forgiving iron so I think I'll go with the zx5s.  I don't care too much about feel since I play a firmer golf ball already and graphite shafts basically make any club feel soft.

Only interested in the ZX utility.  Looking forward to hitting this more.  I had the chance to hit it a month ago but the shaft was way too light.  Would love to see a recoil f5 110.

Have you ever tried the Recoil 110s?  If so, how'd they feel compared to 95s?  Drastic difference?

I haven't played either unfortunately so hoping the 95s are good. I grew up playing an old taylormade 200 series iron with a 90 gram shaft so even though I have pretty high swing speed I still play 90 gram shafts cause I'm so used to that weight. I have a pretty moderate tempo so I can get away with not having a perfectly fit shaft in my irons. I've loved graphite though because they reduce vibration a ton which is very appreciated on cold mornings we have a lot here in utah.
