Callaway Fall release...any rumors?

On Callaway’s website it says the X Forged irons are “Not Available”. I wonder if this means they are introducing a new version soon?

Yep. I just saw it yesterday.High handicap driven release in Oct. actually decent stuff and callaway is super smart for getting it out with the influx of new golfers.

With a potential Fall release of new irons, to not see anything proto on tour is not such a good sign. Seems like no X forged or similar release this year.

I’d assume they’re holding off on releases due to COVID.

Nope. Their normal release is always the first part of the year around PGA show time. They have a release coming in OCT. It is a High handicap beginner golfer driving release. I think it will do really well.

 

The only company that is holding off is Ping. They are really struggling. They are like a month backorder for anything custom.

Not with the Apex MB and X Forged. They're typically early October.

Is this release potentially a short set? 8-10 clubs type of thing geared toward beginners. That would be interesting

Not really a short set. But a complete line. Driver, fairway, hybrids, irons, and a copy cat wedge.. haha.

It's amazing how many people picked up golf during COVID due to lockdown, Golf being a safe outdoor activity and Golf being the only professional sports on TV for the first month back to live sports.

No, nothing like that. There is a fair bit of tech in it but it is a standard iron profile. It will have more tungsten in it then any other iron. Or so they say... I have no way to know if that is true or not.

No idea what this release is but I could see them launching a full line of ultra forgiving Big Bertha clubs at an entry level price. Something different than the $500 drivers and $1400 Bertha irons they have now

I wont say the mens line but since its public info, New ladies line called Reva. Game improvement oriented. I'm guessing x forged coming and I'm guessing MBs. There's a dead amazon page for callaway reva ladies 5 wood. Guessing it just hasnt been activated yet but is cached under google search and shows up under callaways patents along with a bunch of other stuff i havent heard of but was filed recently. 3 new apex models too by the looks of it.https://uspto.report/company/Callaway-Golf-Co
