I've heard people say the new Srixon is very neutral.

Titleist TS3 and the new TSi3 have a very neutral face angle and pretty high MOI for how hot it is. Launch is pretty subjective and can be easily manipulated with the right shaft. I've had the exact same club head with an AD-BB and AD-DI, each producing a different ball flight. You always have the option of lowering the loft via sleeve which will open the face

Maybe a TSi2 or Ping G425 Max 4 wood at 3 wood playing length with the loft sleeved turned down would suit you. Kind plays like an open faced 3.5 wood, which should increase launch and setup with a neutral to open face. In my experience, most of the new fairway wood heads are so low spin that I get better playing dynamics with a higher loft than I am used to. That said I still haven't kicked my 11 year old Mizuno out of the bag yet.

they don’t make a 4 wood in the ping

G425 Max is the highest launching fairway for me that I have hit so far. Does have some draw to it though, but even if you set it in the -1* Flat setting it is still super easy to get in the air off the deck. Taylormade SIM2 Max is pretty darn high too, very little draw in it for me. The Mizuno ST-Z is much more neutral bias, but it did launch lower than the G425 Max and SIM2 Max

Echoing some of the other sentiments - The G425 Max, SIM2 Max, Mizuno ST-Z, and Cobra Radspeed all are easy to launch.  The G425 spun a bunch for me and the sound is not great.  The SIM2 Max is a pretty darn big profile if that matters to you.  The Mizuno and Cobra were both fantastic in all areas.  The Cobra looks a bit upright at address, but really didn't want to go left on me.

Mizuno st-z fairway - intriguing - any take on lie angle and lack of bias?

This one feels like a contender for this profile

TXG's video goes into lie angle some. You can adjust it from -1.5 to +1.5. They felt it neutralized it vs. the new Cobra as an example. They also felt it was super easy to launch.

the spin on the 425 max is a positive for me - interesting - appreciated

If the Mizuno sleeve/design is like their CLK hybrid, then they are starting out at a pretty flat lie angle and then giving you the option to go more upright. This makes a TON of sense to me. What does not make any sense to me is other brands where they start way upright as their standard lie angle and only give you the option to go MORE upright.

I would take a look at a 5 wood that can be lofted down/face opened for high launch. My SIM Ti 5 wood is super easy to get up in the air and long. It's also not small so gives me confidence down by the ball. It was a bit draw biased for me due to lie angle, so I have been doing the standard tricks to take that out with some good success: shorter shaft, stiff tip shaft, lead tape on the sole toward the toe side, heavier swing weight, opened face angle. I will say that making small tweaks like this are generally easier on something like a Titleist or PING where you can more easily just swap out the sole weights and/or try different lie angle/face angle combos.

When I hit it it was very neutral but very low launch and spin. I would call it a bomber 3 wood, not a high launch/high MOI option.

Mizuno ST-Z.

It’s a really pretty club, but I only looked at it.  Aside from being really attractive and a nice shape my biggest takeaway was how big and tall (deep face) the club was for a 3W.

May not be an issue when hitting, but conceptually it started to make me think turf shots (not on a mat) would make it difficult to launch.

Matt, the scratch golfer at TXG, sure didn’t have a problem launching it though.

I totally understand what you are looking for op.  Fairways are hard to find to give you what you need.  When you do, hold onto it.

I typically favor Cobra fairways because they have a nice compact, round profile that is easy to launch and spin.  They do sit a little upright.  Titleist fairways are almost always great.  Not crazy about the tsi2 shape and not sure how the tsi3 is with spin yet.  Ping seem to be easy to launch as well.  Just not a fan of the sound.  Have not tried the new ones yet.

All that being said, I have a pxg Proto coming this week.  Never hit it, but I’ll report back.  Low profile, so should launch nice.  Just worried about spin.

Keep us posted on what you find.

Titleist TSi2 should fit the bill.  Flat lie angle with the ability to adjust flatter.  If you go 16.5 and open it up to 15.75 and flat you should have exactly what you are looking for.

I hit the SIM2, Cobra Radspeed, 425 LST and nothing came close to the Epic Speed 3W.  I'm ordering the 4W with the MMT 70 g shaft.  They won't be arriving until later this month.

Did you try the other stock shaft -- Hzrdus?  If so, any thoughts on comparison.

Agreed for pure ball speed and distance.  The Cobra Radspeed Big Tour kept up with it, but I’d be worried about hitting that one off the deck / overall forgiveness.

I tried the 3W with the 70 g Green Haz.  Callaway only had three clubs to demo. all were Speeds in various flexes.  Also it was the only one that I kept online.  245 yd carry and I swing 100mph with the driver. Two many flames to the right with the Ping.  Really liked the Cally E Speed.  Might try the Driver next.  I play the Tour Exotic EXS Pro Driver which I like.  The TE 3 wood EXS pro is unhittable for me off the deck.

I prefer the new Ping 425 LST 3 wood in my fitting, shallow face which really help me, launch pretty easy and spin less than TSi2, others.  I have not try the Epic speed yet but I heard that they are super low launch, low spin, don't have the ability to go flatter, might not fit me.
