Favorite sports to watch besides golf and your team.

What sport(s) are your favorites to watch besides golf and what are your teams?

for me. 

MLB- A’s 

Football. NFL and NCAA- RAIDERS and it doesn’t matter

 

NBA- Warriors. Unlike MLB and NFL, I can’t get into just any game. Pretty much only watch the Warriors games. 

 
I’ve tried to get into NHL and Premier League, but it’s just not happening 🤷🏼‍♂️

Battle bots! NICE. My mind wasn’t even going there. I like watching that as well. Don’t seek it out, but if it’s on I’ll def check it out for a minute. On that note, who will be the first one to mention E-“sports”?! 😫 LOL The upside is, when someone asks what sports I played, I can add video games! 🙌🏼

I think it is more that people move around a lot more.  My family is originally from Chicago, back 3 generations, so that is where I get my Cubs/blackhawks fandom.  I have lived in Utah and Nebraska, attending the University of Utah and Creighton so I cheer for my alma maters.

Makes sense. Was my first thought. Curious. 9ers over Bears? Alex Smith was the QB when you were at Utah???

Growing up I was in salt lake and back then you only got 1 afc and 1 nfc game each Sunday.  This was during the 9ers of the 80s so I watched a lot more 9ers games than Bears games.  Although, I do still like the Bears as they are my dad’s favorite team.

I grew up in the Bay Area but have been living the last 30 years down here in SoCal. So I love all the BA teams. As I’ve gotten older my disdain for professional sports has jaded me bigtime in regards to following as passionately as when I was younger.  And yes I’m a huge Sharks fan so I’m used to getting reamed in the playoffs.

I don’t follow hockey, but have a lot of friends that are big time Sharks fans. So I hear a lot about the Sharks rep about making the playoffs and never closing. Frustrating I’m sure.

I started getting into F1. Just hard as it’s practically a foregone conclusion every race who’s gonna podium. The F1 series on Netflix is awesome.
