Pretty naff comment from UK commentators... "how does that taste Bryson".

This partisan USA vs Europe BS should not spill over from the Ryder Cup.  Even then it's a bit naff.

To be fair to them they have been blowing smoke up Bryson all week. 

 

I think the comment was in relation to Bryson holing out a long putt on the previous hole. And Lee then doing the same.

Don't mind the shouting AFTER every shot... it's the people who shout before the shot that need to STFU.  Not much of that here to be fair.

Some people said the same about Seve and Tiger.

Others love them.

Same with any character in sport - McEnroe in tennis for example.

Got to love these characters whether you want them to win or lose, they make their sports.

I think he's just a bit awkward. In another thread I compared him to a group of friends that has that guy who ends up really rich, and then becomes the leader because of that. But you're all like "wait is he the cool one now?" 

 

I think Bryson is just great at golf and found this really interesting niche, but he's not that interesting a guy, and probably is overdoing it. Like he probably has a social media consultant. That type of guy

Though I believe these conditions favor westwood ; hats off to him , 20 yrs diff hanging with the “youngins” today , getting out driven by 168 yds on 6 , he’s pretty mentally tough.   Bads or Westie,  one beats the other and not by some mistake or error.

It's just stuff like the "Worst bunkers on Tour" comment that make me think it's more of him being an A-hole than him being awkward.

Yeah, that isn't endearing. I think it was him who go upset the cameraman was following him too after a bad shot

 

But a lot of guys do stuff like that . I mean Rahm, Spieth etc , Thomas had his recent controversy, they all do stuff like that. I mean so do I lol. It's always the courses fault. MTL Jeff has never had a bogey be his fault

Yeah, BD aight. His brain is hyper and he whines a bit.

 

But he backs it up with skills so as long as clubs talkin loudest, good to see him succeed.
