So I'll take my concept of majors and players being far more important than a made for TV event that no one remembers in comparison to the stroke play,  72 hole golf events we hold near and dear to our collective hearts....

 

While we're on it .....doesn't it seem odd that the United States plays EVERY year ? 🤔

 

Why not have an international cup with all parties involved?  Why don't we have the AMERICAS vs Europe?  Quite a few questions that there aren't answers too.....

I'm not a Bryson hater, I like guys who do things a little differently.  But yeah, that comment makes me root against him today. I guess he expects a weak flare falling straight down to give him the perfect lie he so richly deserves.

They are two clubs stronger, at least compared to Tiger who has old school lofts.

 

Bryson: Pitching wedge though 4-iron = 42° to 18°

Tiger: Pitching wedge though 3 iron = 50 to 22.5°

 

He still hits it nine miles though.

That's why we have the Presidents Cup. And so the PGA Tour can make a ton of money. 

 

There is the thinking that Europe plays better in the Ryder Cup because they don't have to play a tournament like that every year.

Tiger's clubs aren't a fair comparison. Maybe one length difference. But remember his 4 -6 irons are shorter than everyone else's on Tour.
