Sik Putters

Recommended Posts

Solid amount of head options and 3 neck options for each, can pick the alignment you want on the putter as well. Heavy heads, well milled, I liked the roll on the ball as well. If you like heavier heads definitely give them a try.

I was on the fence about getting one, but ended up going with a full custom from Byron Morgan. I'm still intrigued by the DLT on the SIK line so may pick one up down the road.

I bought the Pro-C Series just this year. I wanted to try one out but most of your retail stores don't carry them, so I'm glad my fitter had one available. I like the feel and sound, provides a lot of feedback, but is pretty forgiving for a blade. Nice milled face. Sik seems a little full of themselves with the DLT, that didn't seem particularly noticeable to me.

Do you find DLT helps get the ball rolling? I personally like TM style pure roll to get the ball rolling. Just don’t love their Newport styles so looking at SIK. Seems like it would

I find it adds forgiveness, putts hit low/high on the club face roll noticeably better, at least compared to my previous putter. I personally can't tell a difference between DLT and non-DLT when hitting the sweet spot, though.

If I didn't have my milled Juno proto, I'd own a sik armlock. Just can't justify the cost right now given that I like my putter. I've used sik before and really like how DLT rolls the ball.

Managed to finally try one of the Sik DW putters, ive always been on the fence but these things are legit. The feel the headweight the roll everything after trying them is going to hurt my bank balance.

Going straight in the bag haha

I went pro model. Looking forward to getting it into my hands. Went KBS CT tour black shaft as well

That is the first thing I am going to change when I get it...cant beat the look. The DW I tried did have a stability shaft in it but my previous experience with those shafts wasnt that great

Started with a Sik Armlock and liked it, but just couldn't get the hang of longer putts with it.  Sold it  Found a 35 inch pro model and love it.  The DLT seems to nullify my mistake if I allow my hands to get too far forward in a press.  The difference between my Scotty and the Sik is a significant head weight difference.  I think that the SIK is going to make the cut and become the go to putter in my bag.

The Club Champion near me carried whole lineup of SIK. Fitting was easy, since they had interchangeable necks, and shafts for each model.

I personally loved the heavier headweight and was fitted for more face balanced putter, so it was between the DW and the FLO. Ended up with the FLO, and I'm excited about gaming it this season!

Milling/Finish is very nice on the Sik lineup.

For ref: Feel seems a bit firmer than my Scotty Pro Platinum.

I haven't rolled one personally but the latest most wanted blade putter testing on the Spy website had the SIK pretty low on the list.  It kind of surprised me a little bit.

The probably didn't pay them anything to get higher up on the list.

Im waiting for mine to arrive I have never actually putted with a SIK putter yet. Ordered it blind but I will say I pretty much have not liked anything MGS has recommended

The SIK putters are pretty nice, they are definitely higher in head weight as others have mentioned, and they don’t quite have the same premium finished look as other putters in the same price category. I’d say they are a hair over priced for what you get, but not a terrible value by any means.

One thing to understand about the DLT face is (at least how I understand it) that there’s nothing in that technology that will get the ball rolling sooner. The face is essentially curved so that there’s more loft up top and less loft down below and standard loft in the middle. If you strike the ball in the center then you’re delivering the normal 2* of loft.

Theory goes if you strike the ball high on the face then you’re also probably delofting the putter and so there’s more loft higher on the face to compensate, thus delivering a net 2* loft. The reverse happens if you hit it low on the face, the idea is that your shaft will be leaning back and you’ll be catching the ball more on the upstroke. If your shaft is leaning back then you are adding loft, so there’s less loft on the bottom of the face to still deliver a net 2* loft at impact.

The technology is about delivering the exact same loft at impact regardless of your variations of shaft angle at impact, so that you can be more consistent in your distance control regardless of whether you make a less than perfect impact every time.

This is different than a face technology like TaylorMade’s 45* downward grooves or other putter company’s putters that are purely designed to get the ball rolling end over end sooner.
