Going to be a bit crazy at Augusta and like I said before it would have just been too much adding Phil to the show. IMO, Tigers potential return is/was the reason Phil won't be there.

No, not even remotely related. Phil made up his mind long ago and doubt he was running anything by Tiger given what Phil was running his mouth about at the time.

Nothing to do with Phil (or Tiger) and whatever his decision may have been/was.

 

I believe the Masters top brass are the ones that asked Phil not to show up. Phil had no say in the matter.

Yo, is actually Shiraz. We didn’t get a bottle cause we didn’t know if we’d finish one, so i just asked for something by the glass that would be good with the food. It was good! And of course we got 2 more so should have just got bottle!

Not possible, We were told by WRX medical experts months ago that Tiger's ankle was crushed to dust, leg was amputated, had a major infection, etc...conclusion was he may never walk, let alone play golf. Then we were told he wouldn't play on the tour until 2023 at the earliest. Could it be, nobody here really knows anything and are full of ****?

Tiger would not go to Augusta and tweet that he may play if he didn't think he had a realistic chance of playing AND competing. I would not count him out doing well if he plays. He nearly died, nearly lost his leg, was bedridden for months, didn't think he was ever playing golf again, and now he may play the Masters?? Everything golf is gravy for him at this point. 

 

If he plays, the ratings will break all-time Masters rating records guaranteed.

He’s not going home if he can play, but not compete enough to win. He knows he might only have a few Masters left in him.

If he plays the ratings would be thru the roof, BUT the coverage of the actual golf will suffer.  If Tiger plays ESPN will show every single step he takes for two days.  There be less coverage of all the other contenders and  drama that happens away from Tiger.  He hasn't played a competitive round in almost 2 years.  It is incredible news that he very well might play...yeah, but in the grand scheme of things, I don't think it's the best thing for the tournament and those that want to see ALL the golf, not just Tiger limping around for 6 hrs a day.

If he plays, The Masters has the ability to instruct CBS how to run the broadcast. They won’t let them turn it into the Tiger show. 
 

I’m thinking they’ll have TW in the featured groups for online coverage so everyone can see him if they want.

Let’s not forget he‘s still the ultra competitive Tiger he always was, and will try to make it happen. We can only hope there’s no swelling or unbearable pain after two consecutive days of golf on a slopey course. 
He‘s just wired that way. 2008 US Open, playing with a fracture, against doctor’s advice…but that’s almost 15 years, a couple major surgeries and a horrible car crash ago.

I just hope his body allows him to compete. His mind and talent will take care of the results.

It's already a win. He feels healthy enough and sharp enough to play. His back must be fine, his hands must have that "touch". He's a freak for prepping and he's all in without so much as some practice rounds under his belt. Dude is back even if he declines tee off.

He’s over 50 now. Definitely running at least 10W-40! 😂
