It would be interesting just seeing BDC's lines on all the par 4s and 5s. I think he would cut a lot of yardage off that course with aggressive lines that many can't take.

Disappointed that Bryson withdrew. I'm not the biggest fan of his but really wanted to see how he plays this course. also bummed that Morikawa isn't in the field. Enjoyed watching him last time he was here.

I took the day off thinking of watching the practice round (free admission today) but will probably spend most of the day assembling my new irons. Might still get out there this afternoon for a couple hours.

DeChambeau out with a 'sore wrist'. But by the way he was sulking around yesterday, DeChambeau out with baby tantrum.

Funny you mentioned “baby tantrum”. I just got done reading the following article by the SMU coach that recruited Bryson. Guess some things never (or are very slow to) change.

He lost me on Sunday when he buried his putter into the fringe and then buried his chin in his chest as he walked onto the green.

The awe of the 400 yard drives cant outweigh that childish attitude. Biggest stage in golf. Act like it.

The practice putting green in Mexico is still recovering from him lodging his putter into it a few years ago. Complete child.

Considering his SG putting stats he might as well go with a Coke can tied to a stick.

Not familiar with this layout.   Large fairways?  If so yes, my money is on Cam.  We've seen JT do this a few years back.

Sergio did this to a green a few years back, was fined heavily (actively root against him).  Trash the course I actively root against you.  It's the golfers creed.  Leave it better or as good as you used it.

Agreed, actively root against him.  Hope he doesn't win another tourney.  Oddly enough I tolerate cheating more so than destroying courses.  Club house, cart, club, don't care.  Course, I get really ticked off.

Thanks for sharing the article.  Backs up the clown theory, but a lot of that is personality and I try not to judge, even with the baby attitude.  But destroying greens is desecration of holy ground.  Actively rooting against him.

Does this mean you're more team reed than team dechambeau?

Oh yeah unless Reed is destroying golf courses, he is my pick between the two.  I'd rather root for neither truth be told.....

I'd love to see Kuchar get his 10th.  Some might not like him for stiffing the looper, but after reading that article(s) it just sounded like thats the deal they agreed too and he ended up giving him some more.  The Looper said non issue so I am good.

10 wins and a players with a few other big wins would cap off a really nice career on the PGA.  Sure no majors or 20 wins (the two top shelf achievements) but had a great career.    He also won this in 2019, so you never know.   I watched him at the RSM last year, he didn't look particularly sharp so I won't hold my breath.....

SSS just looked at this 2021-22 metrics.   Eeeek   Not much going on, maybe some putting that's all from what I could tell.
