Watching the tournament intro narrated by Grant, and they have a brief clip of Lydia sporting her old snaggletooth and a Callaway hat. Oy. Intern couldn't find a clip shot in the past four years? 🤔

I hadn't seen her do that today . . . the greens I saw her on, the flag was removed.  But, I was not paying too much attention to the golf as I've been working at my desk.

Nasa is a slow starter . . . Or rather she seems to be a slow starter (to the season).  Anna is, as you know, a bit of a streaky player . . . patches of playing well, patches of tough results.   The one that I can never seem to fully comprehend is Ariya.  She has the ability, the distance, etc.  but I cannot ecape the idea that mentally she is beat ... in that she has allowed her "fear"  of the Driver or rather lack of confidence with the Driver, to infect her thinking and her game.

One was short, and one was mid length. She had the flag tended on a long one.

Maybe she will put a stop to all of the crazy posts about a 4 handicap beating an Lpga player . Annika beating all the top male celebs from the same tees . Great stuff

Should be an exciting final round. The course is playing tough, so plenty of opportunities for stumbles. I'd say the top six are still in the hunt. 

 

No idea how Nelly swings with the puffy jacket. Lol.

The final round pairings are different than last year.  Nelly, Gaby and Annika are in the final group while Danielle is in penultimate group with two other celebrities.  It doesn't look right.

 

This is a problem regular tournaments don't need to deal with.

The women play for the $1.5M purse from Hilton...but only the previous LPGA year's winners qualify.

You should have seen the STUPID silent game NONSENSE I saw Ariya doing with Les Luark at the range here in 2015 at VGC.

Les put up with it cause it's a paycheck.

 

Les is on Wie's bag this week....I suspect Wie won't play much and if Les is returning back to the LPGA as a FT loop...I think he's searching for a premier pro's bag.

I can't play golf in a jacket.

In the winter....if it's cold...I layer and play with a long sleeve, maybe a turtle neck and a 1/4 zip shirt.

I played today with long sleeve & 1/4 zip shirt.....Fraserview was wet with slow lousy greens....yet fast, smooth and 10 stimp greens in Dec....WTH....and they had a temp on #4 & #17....WTH....no frost today...no need to have temps...WTH.

The male celebs should be embarrassed.

At times Annika only had a 134 ball speed and 200-210 carry.

The stronger male celebs (many past pro athletes) could be 50-60 yards past her in carry and potentially with 4-6 clubs less on some approach shots....therefore with the ability for better proximity to the hole.

 

Annika hit some great FW approach shots on the back 9 including a great long fairway bunker shot.

I'm SHOCKED but also IMPRESSED that she's the 54 hole leader...kudos!

Nelly has a very good driver game....putting her in a advantageous position for her approach shots.

Gooding driving also helps with confidence on each hole.

Kang gives me the impression that she would never hire a loop that couldn't golf...a loop that understands what it's like to play good golf to offer advice.

It's incredible how far she's driving the ball in the cold. She's averaging 260 yds for the week, but she's knocked a few out there 270+.
