I think they had problems filling in the celeb spots...some pros played w/o one and I think GC staffer Kira Dixon was given a spot cause it was open.

To me, she probably ran out of gas and the fact it was cold didn't help.

 

But congrats to Danielle.  The consistency paid off.  Even though the last season didn't result in a win, what she was working on kicked in.  Well done.

Nelly definitely does not like the cold .  . . though she handled it well yesterday.   Brooke said that after living in Florida the past few years, even she has become too acclimatized and started to find it cold for her!  And her hometown gets really cold winters.

I get it, but golfers get tired, even young world beaters like she's been.  Just because she's young doesn't mean she isn't human or infallible.  Maybe she didn't prepare well or the cold just sapped her energy.  But it was clear she wasn't the same golfer that she was even yesterday.

This event is a JOKE...no wonder why many think the LPGA is a joke.

Just invite the previous year's LPGA winners....I'm ok if only 20-25 show up. The pros will be happy too as the winnings won't be diluted.

 

We typically only see 10 pros playing during telecast anyways....nuff said.

I think there is a par 3 Hole in one contest on Inbee's YouTube page that DK and NYC participated in. And Inbee is apart of the" Korean Golf Champions Girl Band" V159 or whatever number of wins they're up to now. She's also usually in many of the wedding pics and end of the season party pics.  What snob does all that?

I really like the course. Less than half of the field broke par. Winning score of less than 20 under is a rarity in non-majors these days.

It did, she gained about 16,000 new followers between her cover and her win this week.  For reference, similar players like Jessica Korda, Lydia Ko, Charley Hull and Lexi Thompson gained less than 10,000.

She confirmed they were hers and asked where I got them etc. she remarked that she played one of them on tour quite a bit before her vokeys and remembered the wear spot on it. Pretty cool!

 

Those are awesome. I'd love those for my collection. Nice find on ebay.
