Adam Scott with new putter

Looks like since his full Titleist deal is up, he’s tinkering with putters. Surprised to see him leave the “trusty” Futura X though.

He's used that Directed Force putter in the past.

Its a LAB armlock. Sounds like a perfect fit for Adam if I've ever heard of one.

 

He could be playing with a brick on the end of rebar and it'd still look better than an unanchored broomstick

Absolutely! I thought it was a broomstick 🧹. That heads still tuff to look at tho! Haha

Yeah it's a tough one to look at but I hope for his sake it works for him. He deserves it at this point imo

He’s used a LAB putter in the past, same head but was “standard “ length

was this the putter he was using when he won 2 events in a month (or at least 2 in quick succession) straight after the anchor ban? Just seem to remember he came out of the blocks great with the short putter and the claw, then started experimenting for some reason, before settling on the unanchored broom (again, no idea why)

Yep this isnt “new”, he has used it before. Wonder if he has tried the new Mezz from LAB. Much better looking. However, having used both I think the DF is better suited for a broomstick.

This putter makes perfect sense for him, I think.  Would like to see him play a little more consistent this year and make some noise.

He has a MEZZ prototype head made especially for Bloom/armlock that is still in the works. Sending him one with updates today!

Fun fact: We have built him at least 20 putters for testing the last few years. All kinds of fancy one-off stuff. THIS putter happens to be his father's 40" broomstick/side saddle putter that Adam is using as an armlock!! crazy fella.

I tried explaining how Adam Scott being an equipment free agent to a guy at work while watching and it’s amazing how little normal golfers give a s*** about clubs.

You guys at Lab rock, I received my mezz proto love the looks and feel unfortunately I am in Ohio and can’t use it outside yet but seems top notch.
