Head has zero gloss finish left and a dent in the back (I covered it with lead tape).  Scary thing is my hybrid probably has a larger head and would go further than it.

My Ping Eye 2, 1-iron, red dot, from my set in the mid-80's. My last hole-in-one was made with that club. My cousin has the set  (1-SW) in his garage. I visit them occasionally for nostalgic purposes.

Years ago a golfing buddy bought a new TM R7 driver with a bubble burner shaft to the course--I hit it a few times and was blown away by how much better it was than any other driver I'd ever hit. As soon as the round was over, I went to a local golf shop and bought one. I have yet to own another driver that was as much of an improvement over all previous drivers as the R7 was...I would also include the Lynx "Boom Boom" 3 wood I gamed for years--never had more confidence in a club than that one. And finally, a relative newbie--the Cleveland RTX X-grind 60 degree wedge (with just 3 degrees of bounce)--I love having a low-bounce wedge in the bag, and you can open that sucker up to about 80 degrees and the leading edge still lays flat, which is great for tight lies when you need to just nip the ball and still put a lot of spin on it...

Driver- Callaway Diablo Tour (got it at the old Callaway Superstore in Vegas on a work trip and shipped it home. Felt like such a boss... Lasted a solid 4-5 years in the bag)

Good stuff! That Diablo Tour was a SOLID SOLID driver...my dad played one for a few years, he picked up like 20 yarads vs his Bertha 460 with the same shaft.

I have had this Tour Edge 3 wood for 20 years or so, this has inspired me to reshaft it and give it a go. I could rip this thing back in the day. We'll see if I can get it airborne now, but it kept knocking new 3 woods out of my bag till the shaft splintered.........here is my HOF inductee:

Has to be my putter, been in the bag for 4 years now and going nowhere unless it disintegrates! Ping cadence tr ketsch heavy slight arc. Before using this I had to have a blade putter but this has been a game changer!

Ping Rapture V2 driver is the only club I can put in my personal hall of fame.  Way ahead of its time.  (and not really that old). Everything else is like comparing Johnny Unitas to Tom Brady. Great players. Different eras. Different game.

I had the 1025c’s before I was good enough to really use them, wish I still had them to goof around with every once in a while. Last couple sets before MacGregor went off the map if I remember...

The Kasco K2K hybrid.  I have the 13, 16, 19, and 22.  They are the easiest to hit hybrids I have ever seen and even at 20 plus years old are still viable on the course.

 

The 19* is probably the most versatile of the bunch.

 

I have hit some amazing shots with all of the clubs and the ability to hold greens from 200 plus is pretty cool.

 

the only downside is they do launch the all high and in windy conditions this can be problematic.

 

all in all…a great club.

Y'all....I made a BIG mistake....I forgot the absolute GOAT of GOAT's....The Jordan of Tigers of Jacks of George Washingtons of Montanas of Chuck Norris.....the Callaway Bobby Jones 4wd with a DGS300. SUPER DEEP face that spent like 65 of Fred Couples 70 yrs in the bag for Augusta. Really hard to find but if you can, they are a LOT of fun.
