Best Mizuno irons of all time

if you are looking for a set I just passed one up yesterday before getting on a flight back to Canada from OH.  Play it again Springdale OH.  would have had to pull the heads to get them in my carry on.  They were $199.99 USD

May not be the best, by the MP25 are certainly up there for me personally. Absolutely loved everything about them and truly wish I had never sold them when I did... oh well live and learn. Maybe one day I'll find another set and add it to my backup bag.

MP32.  Best feeling, most playable blade they ever made.  Bested only by ‘99 Hogan Apex.

Haven’t hit them all but my fave is the 68’s. My first blades, I owe them a lot, they made me realise even though they are a blade they are not hard to hit and I hit my best shots with something with a narrow sole

Still have my MP60s. They’re a backup set. BUT, i think what we’re all saying here is, they may just be the best brand for irons of all time.

I've enjoyed the MP-5s, MP-69s and for different purposes the MP-52s.

I would have loved to try the MP-20s (with the copper underlay) and/or the MP-20 MMCs.

For me the MP-32s are hard to beat, I played them from 2005 through 2021.  Although most classified them as a blade they felt much more forgiving plus like everyone else states they just felt buttery soft.

Might be a rare vote for these...  

 

MS-11s / MP-11s.  These had a playable CG, surprisingly forgiving for a blade, and one of the first to introduce bounce in the long irons.  They have 5* to 6* in the long and mid irons; a lot of bounce for a blade of the late 80s and early 90s.

I’ve had 2 sets of clubs in my time playing golf since 2010. Mizuno Mx 20 Tzoids & Titleist CB 712. I keep going back to the love of my life...Mizunos. The CBs feel great but just not as smooth & soft as the MXs. Stronger lofted or slightly more weighted than the CBs. It’s like going back to ur secret lover every time. She just knows what to do & do it right.

I started off with some T-Zoid's, excellent for beginners who need some forgiveness.

 

I then got an MP33 6 iron to see if i could hit it. I thought i could so i went and bought the set. Not hard to hit but very unforgiving if you don't pure them.

MP 33s and MP 100s (cuz they were MP 33s with a different stamp).  Played those from 2002 to 2009 (33s) and 2009 to 2015 (100s).

 

Honorable mention is the MP 4 which was virtually a copy of the 33 when looking down from address except the pw which may have been an improvement.

Ive only  have mp5 and mmc20. Mp5 has a feel ive never felt in a iron before. Its incredible. Probably my best feeling set and i have 4 different sets that feel phenomenal so that says alot. Also look great. Mmc20 look feel play great and very forgiving.

MP-5s get my vote, for some reason the long irons are the easiest to hit blade-wise. The 4 iron gets a lot of play. 

 

Looking forward to trying the JPXs coming up. 
 

221s have the best feel and flight. That fitting was addicting.
