Yeah, a real no talent loser. He will never make another cut. Oh wait..........

i’ve said it multiple times, and i stand by it now: we’ve seen rickie fowler’s last pga tour win.

congrats to him for making the cut, though.

I live in the same town as JDB. He shows up and plays with a Summer league, scramble, charity tournys etc. on occasion.

I doubt there's anyone that even remotely knows him that has nothing buy the highest respect for him.

For know other reason than he's humble and as down to earth as they come. A family man first without any skeletons in the closet. I'd challenge anyone to find someone that knows him that has anything unkind to say about him.

Still plays Golf and could step out on the Champions tour and compete if the desire was there.

There isn't any of us here that wouldn't be better off having him as a friend or neighbor.

Exactly.

Mentioning him in the same sentence as Fowler is inappropriate.

Rickie Fowler's lack of grit might be a personal struggle.  It might be time to ping him on twitter with Liz's information.

By the way, she added two more staff, expanded her offices and is looking to grow even larger.

I'd like to think that I was a small part of the growth story.

Did we ever clarify if "Millennial Life Counseling" provides life counseling from millennials to clients of all ages or if they provide life counseling from millennials only to clients who are also millennials? Judging by the team's picture they all appear to be millennials. They also all appear to be female but nowadays, who knows?

Oh yes, I clarified.  And I will gladly clarify again.

All women, all millennials.  All clients.  They specialize in millennial counseling.

The areas of focus:

1.  premarital counseling

2. adult and personal growth

3. dating and seeking relationships

4. couples therapy

5. parenting

It's a good firm, they are doing some great things over there.

Thank you, I thought you addressed it earlier in another thread but I was too lazy to search. It's good to know that while specializing in millennial counseling, they are inclusive in who they offer their services to.

You're welcome.  No problem.  All inclusive, yes.

I actually thought about using Liz's team to resolve conflicts here at WRX.

For example, when Ruport562 claims that Moe Norman is the very best all striker of all time and 2manySnowmen disagrees, we can call in Liz's team for conflict resolution.

Or, when 3PUTTchuck claims that Ben Hogan's injuries/recovery/return were more remarkable than Tiger's injuries/surgeries/recovery/accident/recovery/return and wronghole62 says "no way", we can call in Liz's team to settle the dispute.

I'm assuming they would require a retainer?

Not to jinx it, but the past couple weeks he's been playing pretty good, hopefully a sign he's got some of his mojo back.

He has been trending upward ever since he went back to Butch. Go back to the Fall. He had a 2 finish at Zozo or some other tourney. He still has too many blowup holes each tournament, but the swing is producing results and you can see the confidence in his game. One of my favorites, hope he can reclaim the taste of victory again here soon.

Rickie’s got it made. Contrary to popular (media driven) belief, not all athletes are all about winning. Many are about cashing in and living the best life they can while enjoying their work. Kudos to anyone who can do that. My circle involves many later career/retired NHLers and I was surprised at how little they really cared about winning.

This whole thread was pretty amazing. I live in Utah, growing up playing competitive golf there were only a handful of names with Utah connections that were continually mentioned. Jay Don Blake always topped that list, even more than BYU alums like Johnny Miller.

Let me tell you something - a guy like Jay Don Blake doesn't need to be mentioned on a list to be considered the "top guy."

He ranks right up there with others at the top of their fields, such as Kevin Zavian and George W. Trippon.

Jay Don may not have been as popular as Jack, Arnie or Tiger but he established a standard of controlled swagger on tour that has never been duplicated.

Rickie Fowler couldn't cut Jay Don's carrots.

Sounds like a great guy, need more great guys.

But, no, he couldn't compete on the Champions Tour.  Barely missed last place in a rare appearance last week, otherwise not a factor for 10 years and wasn't much of a factor on the Champions Tour when he played it.  Sounds like a wonderful person but his competitive Tour days are way, way in the rearview mirror.

How dare you say he couldn't compete?

Jay Don brought that "special element" to every tournament he played.  Everyone knew where he was on the leaderboard.  His presence influenced the framework of the modern Champions' tour and fueled the fire of volunteerism, sparking off a movement toward social responsibility and new focus on humanities, most notably that of fine art appreciation.

Like many, I consider him to be the Dr. J of golf.  Speaking of doctors, and a little known fact, Jay Don Blake worked with Dr. Henry Heimlich to fix his issue of choking over short putts.

And still no wins anywhere since early 2019. Kurt Kitayama OWGR #289 Feb 2022. March 2023 OWGR #19. RF still has a way to go to win again.

Funny, has anyone said RF is all the way back?  He is now where KK was last July.  Maybe be happy a game has seemingly been revived a bit?
