My expectation is better dispersion and avg ball speed by better spin management of off center hits (especially low strikes).

 

That's the only thing that got my tsi4 out of the bag in favor of the stealth.

I agree. I played TSi3 last season and it was great out of the middle. Suffered quite a bit with stability. Moved to the Stealth+ this year and it’s significantly more stable for me. Stability improvement are going to be the most noticeable advancements we see in anything new.

Will be interesting to see whether it makes it way into his bag. At times he has stuck with drivers that have worked for long periods - 910 and 915 and on other occasions, he seems to have moved over quite quickly.

He didn't do to well from what I seen at the Travellers Tournament although he did hit one over 320 yds. I see him missing the cut

The new driver isn't the cause of him continually missing short putts on a frequent basis each event.

Wonder if many pros will make the switch. Seemed that no one really liked the TSi line for whatever reason and went back to the TS.

So untrue. The TSI line were the most played drivers on the pga tour for the last year and a half.

Be that as it may, I wasnt talking about numbers on tour. I was talking about their marquee players (IE Webb/Cantlay and Thomas switched a few times in 2021 back and fourth) always switching back to the TS series and never sticking with the TSi line.

 

I know fairways are hard to get players to replace but lots of old titleist ones in play as well.

You are naming only 3 players and jt has been consistent with tsi3 as of late more so with fairway vs drivers

I know it may not be the drivers fault but with a new driver and a different pre shot routine as I'm sure he's going to be just fine.

I wouldn’t use Jordan Spieth as an example on if a club is great or not. He has changed his swing a few times recently and is still trying to find a rhythm. Look forward to seeing JT, Poston, Homa, or Cantlays results with it.

Seeing Patrick Cantlay put the TSR in play right away says a lot!  Cantlay played the TS3 for years and to my knowledge completely skipped over the TSi line of drivers before putting the TSR in the bag.  He rarely changes clubs.

I think they messed up tsr3 design. the top line looks weird and the weight track is the same from previous tsi3. But other ones have the back shape? this better have higher ball speeds then

The problem with some of their "marquee" players is that many are notorious horders of older models. Webb, Cantlay, and JT all happen to be dudes that like their old stuff, and Adam Scott couldn't ever seem to settle on any driver long term. 

The bottom line is that the TSi line was extremely well received and was notably put in play by an alarming number of free agents, which I will take as a sign of success over guys like Webb/Cantlay and their Titleist time capsule bags.
