Surely you are not seriously conjecturing that the PGA felt like they had to either pay Tiger to get him to stay or that they needed to reward him because he did not go to LIV? I don't think moving to LIV was even a consideration for him for numerous reasons so it seems like a silly supposition to me in all honesty.

It's silly to think that any sane person wouldn't consider $400M+........but

Tiger is 46-47, unlike Phil  he'll make millions to the age of 85.

I'm sure he is looking at the very big picture for himself in making any such decisions. And I am sure he has other irons in the fire besides just the playing of golf not to mention his legacy in the sport to think about. I also agree that he will continue to make tons of money off the golf industry for some time to come.

$15M is like the monthly interest on Charlie's 401K.  The last thing Tiger needs at this point is more money.  I mean I love Tiger but I just don't see the point of this program if that's the result.  He's sure to win it again the year he dies if this is the way it works.
