IMO this is a very good move on the Tour's part as it makes the entire PIP program look like a bad joke which of course it is.

 

Feels like it's the "Hey, that guy that already makes ton's of money... let's throw many millions more at him just to see if he even flinches" program.

Other than being one of the best at golf I never saw the appeal of him as a person. He was a ***** early in his career and only seemed to get a little more humble and likable after a few personal disasters. 
 

I wish the man no ill will but honestly I hope he doesn't come back because it will be 90% of TW camera coverage which gets old quick.
