adidas Golf 2023

After walking in my Ultraboost golf shoes for about 20 rounds since release. I'm gonna be honest and say they are not all that great after all. The first time putting them on. They felt amazing, very comfortable, and stable, and it fit perfectly. As time went on and the more walking I did. I've notice some things with the shoes that leave me very disappointed. I'll start off by they saying they are hardly water resistant. My socks are definitely wet after a round in the morning. They are not very stable once the shoes are worn in and stretch. When I swing I can feel my feet move around inside shoes. The positive to me are only these 2 things. The comfort and they have held up very well for the amount of times walking the course.

Don’t like them.  On a normal 2021 code chaos I’d have that design without the three stripes.  But these arnt for me

Has anyone experienced or heard if the most recent Code Chaos have sole cracking similar to previous models? Mine are cracked and separating, was going to just get the 22s and wanted to see if anyone has experienced failures

Bought a pair of the Adidas Go to shoes and hoping they’re as good as the Adipure SP and knits from a couple of year ago.

Was expecting to get a pair of the Code Chaos today. Right foot was a bit tight - probably would have been ok, but I made the mistake of trying on the Tour Tour360 Twin boa Boost. Great fit so ended up buying them.

 

The maroon in Adidas who decided to stitch in a tag on the inside needs a good talking to, mind you. 🤯

That's odd Adidas started doing this.  Nearly all my adidas shoes have the tag ironed on.  Nike does this with their retro sneakers like Jordan 1 (non-golf), AF1, Dunks, etc.  I hate it.

I experienced the cracking as well in the 19-20's, but the 21's are holding up great after ~100 rounds.

I see Adidas has the ZG23 on sale for $80 in the white model and black model...but they have the same shoes at list rate too. Was there a midseason redesign on these shoes or are they literally the same shoe?

They're the same, just two (likely less popular) colorways on sale.  Nike does the same thing frequently.

Probably Flopshot. The Adipures had the Boost sole and are insanely good. Just picked up a new Brown version on EBay. 
The Adipure knits were great also for dry weather.
Just got a pair of the Go To shoes and they are a hybrid  mix of the Adipure leather and knit versions.

MC87 4D Golf Shoe

 

These shoes are going to suck.  The 4D midsoles are not comfortable.  It's far more for show than any sort of performance or comfort.  Also all those holes tend to collect dirt and pebbles that are impossible to get out.  Playing on a course will make it so much worse.

Funny im seeing your post now. I was just at my local GG and the Ultraboost were at the top of the list among 5 pairs i tried on. Man they are comfortable and thats saying something. 97% of the golf shoes they have at GG are not comfortable for me. The ultraboost however felt like sneakers (not quite, but close enough for a golf shoe). But something told me there is NO WAY these are water resistant and the knit style construct was bound to loosen overtime. Im glad i passed on it.
